Nope. There is no formal M&G designed for that area.

Two tents: One a store, named (perhaps tenatively) on the plans I have as "Side Show Souvineers". The other tent is identified as simply "Storybook Circus Meet & Greet."
The areas formerly occuped by Mickey's house and the other tent are labled "D-Zone" and "Confetti Plaza." (No clue what's up there.)

Thanks, Lee. I thought I'd heard that one of the tents would be a M&G, and I was speculating that it would probably be Pete's Silly Sideshow. Of course, as we all know, names and plans change all the time at Disney.

Wouldn't "Strorybook Meet & Greet" be, I dunno, a meet & greet?

I would imagine D-zone (Disney Zone?) and Confetti Plaza would be the interactive games and possibly food.

Dear Lord, it sounds more and more like this will be pay-for-play carney games, which is someplace I was sincerely hoping they wouldn't go.

I know that was the last thing I wanted to see done to MK, thought they learned their lesson with Dinorama. But no because its cheaper...:brick:

Toontown is gone for over a year and all we get is double Dumbo? Other than that sounds almost exactly like Toontown, just rethemed. Now that's plussing it!

I got more of the impression that free versions of carnival games would be part of the new interactive "magic feather" queue for Dumbo.

Hey, thank you very much for that! By the time I read this thread, the original link had been removed by Disney.

How hilarious that the Google doesn't even let Disney hide from their mistakes. I wonder what they are worried about with people seeing the original information they had posted on their website?

Still, it's great we can still see it and read it thanks to what Walter Cronkite so eloquently called the Age Of Information on the old Spaceship Earth ride. Even Disney's IT department can't stop progress.

The tents will have to be re-skinned, they are in rough shape.

No reason to reskin them until construction is nearing completion. Let the current skins take the brunt of the construction debris and the weathering over the next year. Install fresh skins right before people walk in the door.

I think there are MORE than enough meet-and-greets planned for this expansion...

Wouldn't you want a M&G over another gift shop!?!

Thanks for the info!

The 2 tents was brought up by Imagineering at the D23 event a few weeks back, so it is fact.

i heard that when we enter the tent we will get a magic wand (like the one in Dumbo) that will interact with different things. Not sure if this is true or not.

Sorry to bump on old thread, but I knew I remembered seeing the Confetti Plaza term before. What's interesting is that back in June there were references to these D-Zone charging stations on stuff that Lee had seen.

Does anyone know what Confetti Plaza is/was supposed to be?

Could it be the round area in front of the yellow tent where the food carts are?
