Originally, the ticket tiers were base on how expensive the rides were, that's why E-tickets cost the most. After a while, some of the rides' tiers were changed to affect lines. Alice had 3 different tier designations.
Typically I'm against single IP lands, but it's Lion King. One of the most timeless at Disney's disposal, and it fits the park perfectly. Plus, the park needs more rides...desperately. Would be a good contender for the plot of land between Planet Watch and Asia. Maybe close Planet Watch off to guests (keeping it as a rehabilitation center for the animals) while making the former train station the new entrance to the land.I think if they were to put the Lion King flume ride at Animal Kingdom, they should also build a land around it. Put in some flat rides and maybe even a kiddie coaster. Probably a small quick service and a couple of play area's
- Circle of Life Go-Round (Carousel, with Prideland Animals)
- Rafiki's Mystical Spin (Whip Flat Ride)
- Pridelands Geyser Burst (35ft. Family Launch Tower)
- Hyena Coaster (Kiddie Coaster)
- Adventures of Timone & Pumba (Outside Slow-Moving Buggy Ride)
- Lion King: Simba's River Adventure (Rumored Log Flume Ride)
To each their own lolSplash Mountain. Pirates of the Caribbean. The Haunted Mansion. Spaceship Earth.
I think we take the diversity of attraction kinds we have at modern Disney resorts today for granted. To each their own lol
To be fair to Rise, Splash (which I would have called a 7/10 ride) is a very easy top contender for best ride ending. Still haven’t been on TBA but that’s not surprising considering the bones that are there. It's a 10 second simulator section with a tiny drop. And then it just...ends. To say I was underwhelmed the first time I rode would be an understatement. I think TBA has a better ending, and everyone knows how I feel about that ride.
That is a great idea and would be a lot of fun for the younger guests... A much better replacement for the Hester and Chester element...but in a much better way. ..There is no apostrophe necessary in a plural like "areas"... pet peeve, sorry.I think if they were to put the Lion King flume ride at Animal Kingdom, they should also build a land around it. Agreed. Anything B-ticket or below at AK either needs to be disguised well or believably built into the fabric of the village area. I don’t think there’s much that you could thoughtfully integrate into Harambe from the standard stable of A/B attractions. The kakamora spinner would have worked with the Moana proposal mostly because of the IP, which established kakamora technology as looking a certain way that could conceivably be seamlessly overlaid on such an attraction. Pandora might actually be the easiest place to add a lower tier attraction because you could theme it with the Earth settlers’ technology, but there are also way more interesting things they could do with the IP.I don't know why anyone would want to put more carnival type rides at Animal Kingdom after we're finally getting rid of the carnival section.
It needs more attractions, but stuff like that just doesn't fit the park.

Honestly, Dinorama was probably the best possible way to get those kinds of attractions into Animal Kingdom without detracting from theme.
There is this website called Park Lore that specializes in theme park content. They have a series where this one guy makes improved versions of Disney parks. He recently made an improved Animal Kingdom and it involved A Bug's Land, but it uses the building layout from Ariel's Grotto at Disney Seas. Just thought it was interesting to mention.I’ve generally thought that copying It’s a Bugs Land (RIP) in DAK would work well. Probably without the Tuck and Roll ride. None of the rides (or the splash pad) were greatness but I think it reasonably fits the theme for DAK and could be added quickly and cheaply to add to the ride count. Especially for little ones who might not appreciate some of the more thrilling rides at the park.
That would seem like the more obvious respected replacement to DinoLand if it wasn't for Encanto and Encanto staying in MK.I think if they were to put the Lion King flume ride at Animal Kingdom, they should also build a land around it. It could work as the Dinoland replacment, with the theater becoming the new home for the festival of the Lion King. But I kind of enjoy Dinosaur and I don't really see a work around where it could work as a Lion King attraction. That would seem like the more obvious respected replacement to DinoLand if it wasn't for Encanto and Encanto staying in MK.
No you're fine, I'm bad at grammar anyways. That is a great idea and would be a lot of fun for the younger guests... A much better replacement for the Hester and Chester element...but in a much better way. ..There is no apostrophe necessary in a plural like "areas"... pet peeve, sorry.
It's not a great finale. It's not terrible either. To be fair to Rise, Splash (which I would have called a 7/10 ride) is a very easy top contender for best ride ending. Still haven’t been on TBA but that’s not surprising considering the bones that are there.
