According to the July 3rd edition of the Orlando Sentinel, L & S are to be featured in Disneys 5.30pm parade.

I couldn't make out in which park but I presume it will be in MGM

I know that there is a bunch of other threads about the movie, and this really isn't one, but I want to post something here. I just saw the movie on wednesday, and I have to say it actually surpassed my high expectations. Not only was it a very colorful and funny movie, it was an emotional one. Stitch was such an emotional trigger especially when he's reading the Ugly Duckiling book, it's just tear jerking. This is probably the best non-CGI Disney movie since The Lion King. I really hope that they don't make a sequel, because there is no need to, and I hope that they let those geniuses in the FL studio make some more amazing movies because this is a Disney classic and I hope Disney knows it. My only problem with the movie, and this is a very very minor one, is that they didn't play "Back in Black" by AC/DC, unless they did it at the very end of the credits, because this was one of the reasons I was intrigued by the movie, plus the ruining of all the former movies.:D

Meega, nala kwishta!
Wasn't Stitch great! I too went in with very high expectations. Heck I even own one of those taliing Stitch plushes. And I was not disapointed.

The AC/DC tune was just for the trailers.

As for a sequel, we can probebly expect the normal Disney route on this one. A sequel that is direct to video (like Lion King, Hunchback, Mermaid, and others).

I have heard rumor of a new tv series, like Aladin and Timon and Pumba have. Guess well have to see if Disney decides that it would be worth it or not.

To bad about AC/DC. I wish that was in a part of the movie.:king:

But the AC/DC song was just perfect for the trailers. It really gave you the feeling that this was not going to be a regular Disney movie and at the same time let you know Stitch was going to be a little rascal too. I mean, when has Disney every used a AC/DC song for one of there animated features?

"Look, my dog found the chainsaw."

I'm surprised that Disney used AC/DC at all actually since they have been called "satanic". "Back in Black" is awesome though, and it kicks @$$ that Disney actually used it at all, though it would have been cooler if they used "Highway to Hell" :fork: , "Shook Me All Night Long", or "Big Balls" . Anyway the movie was great and that's all that matters.

Stitch began appearing in the parade on the 10th of June, in other units (ie-bumping Aladdin or Hercules in their units, or riding shotgun with Ariel, Snow White or Mulan) and the car premiered on the 21st

oh my gosh i love disney and i had really high hopes for L&S, but i thought it was awful....the plot was missing things, and didn't seem to be layed out the right way....at the beginning, we spent too much time learning about 626 and no time with lilo and her family to really feel what family is to her...when she tells her sister she need more film because she took all the pics we don't kno what her deal with pictures is because we don't kno that all she had of her family is one pic....some of the funny things, were only there to be funny....like the blue punch buggy line because they were never driving and we never say the blue vw....at the end when lilo and her sister are on a spaceship, why was the boyfriend (i can't remember his name) why was he surfing??? he just happened to decide that while his girlfriend and her sister are in a spaceship with some freaky aliens that would be a good time to go surfing!??!!? i mean really, what were the disney writers thinking??? there were some cute elements to the movie and it was much better than atlantis but it still was no Beauty and the Beast or Lion King....i think you can tell a movie isn't any good when the kids can't sit still and want to leave the theater for more popcorn....my nine year old sister and my grandma (who works for the disney store) both loved the movie but my mom, aunt and i, really did not enjoy it....

Not to argue with the reasons you didn't enjoy the movie, those are you opinions, but I did want to make a few comments on your words...

They only spent about 4 min in the beginning before the Credits on Stitch. And it's gives you a good sense of what he is and why he's who he is. Nothing more, nothing less.

The "boyfriend" wasn't around when the aliens finnaly showed up at the end, so why would he be with them? He wasn't there, so he wouldn't even know that the aliens were there. He works at a night show for tourists, so his days are free to surf. Like earleir in the movie when he shows up and they surf.

No movie will please all. I personally never liked any of the recent featues like Pokahantas (sp?), Hunchback, Mulan. I more liked the Mermaid, Allaidin, Lion King. But Stitch is just one of those that I really enjoyed.

I hope you enjoy the next Disney feature better... :)

I work in MGM and I get to see the parade every now and then. On about 5 occasions, I only saw Stitch in the Alladin car. Did he actually get in the other rides, or did I miss them.

BTW, why is Lilo missing in the L&S car often? Did she have to do hula lessons or something?

some of the funny things, were only there to be funny
Isn't that the point of a comedy movie?

As far as my own opinion, I loved it! I've seen it 6 times already, this is certainly one of the better Disney movies in awhile.
