Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show

I have seen LMA several times (I was working there sometimes...) and it remains my favorite show in DHS. I'm always impressed by the performance of the drivers, that's amazing.

For those who criticize the filming aspect, remenber that you are in a park about the cinema! LMA is one of the last attraction/show to be perfectly themed with that. A lot of people thinks that there is too long gaps between sequences, but you have to understand that whats happen under your eyes needs a lot of preparation. Moreover there is most of the time no queue for this show (even if the stadium becomes almost full everytime).

Finally, some people like, some other don't like but at least this shows is something very unique in WDW, that you cannot see in any other area of the resort.

Unique? Isnt there another stunt show a few hundred yards away?

I'm a car guy, and I imagine come May 2009 if it's the same I'll skip it. Too much waiting time, and Hollywood Studios is pretty much nothing but a huge wait line all day. Wait for Indiana, wait for the stunt show, wait for this show, wait for that show. I don't mind walking around all day, but waiting in line for an hour for a 30 minute show is stupid. Why wait an hour? because the shows get packed and good seats are a must (especially for Indiana). Lights Motors Action needs a revamp!

Nothing like watching LMA on a cloudy, misty day and seeing the replay on the screen and it is sunny! Real time filming - not.

Is it 5:00 yet?
Maybe the reason why they have the movie portion is to give the drivers and cars a chance to cool down....instead of just going straight for 20 minutes..

I'm not the biggest fan of LMA and I do think that they should only have one stunt show. I don't think scrapping LMA or rejigging it is the answer. Personally I'd be more inclined to scrap Indy (which is looking very dated) and sort of collate the two by including some of the audience participation that Indy does so well (obviously there is the safety aspect but I'm sure there would be a way). Then it would open up the option for another Indy themed attraction (perhaps one similar to the DL ride crossed with Revenge of the Mummy's film set aspect). DHS is desperate for another ride and not one that's Toy Story themed.

I really don't care for LMA, don't see the attraction for it, but then again others won't see my attraction for other shows that are the same. It's great to have a choice and by me not going to the show it's one less person in line in front of someone who does want to see it. I just feel sad that it was built at the expense of the backlot.
