It's not even her and you are bashing it? I will wait and see. While the show is just like Indy, predictable, Lighting will add an updated version of Herbie, with mater in tow, i hope. It's a wait and see for us.

It is horrible on both accounts. Both in fitting and execution. The execution just flat out sucks and lazy. That is obvious to just toss in a movie plug into a show. The other part is that Herbie actually was a real car movie stunt series so it made sense to have it in a show about producing vehicle stunts like you see in the movies. Cars is CGI animation.

makes you wonder why they don't add a section using the cars used in gone in 60 seconds.

we saw what they at wdsp, the synopsis is the same. someone(s) in parks and wdi is not doing their job of keeping marketing and movies in check.

Ha! Don't fool yourself. Herbie was put in as a movie tie-in too, because of the re-make with Lindsay Lohan!!

I'm a child of the times when the original Herbie was the biggest thing around. Let me tell ya' kids today could care less about Herbie. He isn't a draw. McQueen is. I actually wish they could keep Herbie as well, but you can't say Herbie belongs when McQueen doesn't.

No one is fooling anyone. But at least herbie has the benefit of being a live action stunt car in film execution. Most of those films were made when they had to conceal the driver to pull off the magic. Kind of the point of the show.

Cars..fails in that. Yeah. I get the studio feel is lacking, but things like this are the reason. It is cheap careless tie in.

Didn't you hear?

It's the age of Pixar, Lasseter is the next Walt, and pushing his movies into every possible spot is great for the parks!!!

:hurl:

Without getting into this "debate" again, Pixar is producing higher quality products than Disney is right now. With that said, Lasseter is not Walt - he can do great things for the parks, but he's spread pretty thin as it is right now.

not cars 2. tangled was much better, that film points to disney animation getting better.

well with cars 2 having a RT rating under 35%, the shareholders are going to speak up about the wisdom and price of the pixar purchase.
