It's okay until he actually sees the spy car, then it's terrible. Hopefully, they'll be re-doing it for the US version. It could have a lot more action and be a lot funnier.

I wonder what the delay is. With the delay with the meet and greet too, I would imagine the delay is with the garage that's getting the cars ready. If so, I hope they hurry up, the movie comes out this week! I'll bet Disney's not very pleased.

Huh? That doesn't make sense. Please explain.

They wedged a movie tie-in where it didn't belong (heavy handed marketing) and then they didn't bother to make it fit the thrilling stunt theme because kids will like it either way (aiming strictly for children).

Unless it was a glitch that day the cars didn't even move during the "high speed" chase. Pretty obvious they just wanted to make the most of another opportunity to push merch.

A quick toot of my own horn here....

I hold the record (but might be tied with others) of the longest time between seeing this attraction. I was there the day it open and saw it (just by happenstance) and have been to DHS dozens of times since and have never seen it again.

This is certainly an attraction you only need to see once..

Well at least it fits in nicely with the rest of the show...

Bringing in McQueen is a natural fit, but he at least should make a big, exciting entrance and show some tire-screeching speed. If you can't do it right, don't do it at all.

Besides how out of place and slow this was at wdsp, the biggest thing that irked me was the inconsistent languages that were used. Everyone was talking in french except for owen wilson, tyra can have her girls on top model read through lines in foreign languages but disney couldn't have owen wilson do the same thing? I know it won't be a problem at dhs, but it really stinks for the majority of guests at wdsp that they can not understand the language being used at the park in their country.

Wow ... that is really bad. I hope the US version is better than that. It looks like some suits shoehorned it into the show.

the description is spot on to what they added at wdsp, I doubt they will make it any different. This "addition" to the attraction has all of the markings of what Eisner would have demanded.

Except for the fact that kids will eat up having McQueen in the show. McQueen makes a lot more sense than Herbie ever did.

Another problem is that they should be doing this while the next stunt scene is being set up. The show is a black hole of time wasted while scenes are being set up as it is.

Don't fault them for adding McQueen – fault them for absolutely horrible execution!

It is horrible on both accounts. Both in fitting and execution. The execution just flat out sucks and lazy. That is obvious to just toss in a movie plug into a show. The other part is that Herbie actually was a real car movie stunt series so it made sense to have it in a show about producing vehicle stunts like you see in the movies. Cars is CGI animation.

Ha! Don't fool yourself. Herbie was put in as a movie tie-in too, because of the re-make with Lindsay Lohan!!

I'm a child of the times when the original Herbie was the biggest thing around. Let me tell ya' kids today could care less about Herbie. He isn't a draw. McQueen is. I actually wish they could keep Herbie as well, but you can't say Herbie belongs when McQueen doesn't.
