Lightning Lane Premier Pass

The difference between old money and new money. Old money definitely looks at the value of this and likely decides not to purchase.
People are over thinking this. The market is the exact opposite of the typical DIS member. A person who doesn't want to have to plan. Who isn't going to be going to Disney often. Who is looking to reduce the # of days necessary to see everything. A person who doesn't need to budget.

How much is dinner at V&A? A one bedroom suite at a deluxe resort? Room service? VIP tour?

Offset the cost of LLPP against the cost of an extra night. Deluxe resort, maybe suite or club level. Assume you're saving the cost of at least one signature meal. The numbers aren't that different. DIS members would rather the extra day at Disney.

a signature meal is not going to run you $400/pp... V&A will, but not a standard Signature meal. I don't know if I would spend an additional $400.00 per day for that pass though... We don't like to plan, and have used the other pay thing grudgingly... The LLPP might be a better vslue if you coould park hop with it, and you could use it for more than one ride on each attraction.... But with no park hopping, essentially adding $400 to your dasily park ticket is just too much with too many restrictions.... Because you still have to make a park reservation....and pay for a park ticket... so you are looking at about $550.00/day....and you have not even factored in food or lodging....
A 4 day Disney Cruise during a more expeensive time of year in a deluxe Ocean View cabin would be $2836 and include your room and all meals and snacks...
So I don't know... 4 days at WDW, or 4 days cruising....

Again this isn't for people like you, AP holders or those who go a few times a year.

For families like mine who may visit once every 3-5 years and don't like planning out each day this is perfect. It's only priced as high as it is to limit the amount of people buying it.

Add in the daily price of a ph ticket (yes i know we need to use the say 5th day lets say price) a character breakfast/dinner which is not far fetched snacks and drinks during the day yo can easily get to that number if not higher.
A signature meal PLUS an extra night hotel. Deluxe. Possibly suite or club. An easy 1,000 or more. Add a signature meal. The cost of an extra day park ticket. You're close to $400 pp

Unlimited amount of food almost 24/7 all included in the price when on a cruise

Again take this with a grain of salt and from a “small” sample size but i work on Wall St with people who have money and visit Disney not religiously but enough to get an idea of who Disney is gearing this to and i asked all that have gone and have upcoming trips planned and when i told then of this “new option” they all simply said yes ill be buying that to avoid any wait times. Some of these people have used the “guides” in the past & others simply dont care about spending an extra say 4-5k on their trip because the money is irrelevant and i think these are the people Disney are gonna cater to with this product.
So do i....where you work?

How can they have their own pool when they don't have set return times.
I’m going to guess they take the “anticipated” number of passes sold and assume an even spread across the day. At least until they can determine patterns from the data, like 60% will ride between 11 & 3.

If they expect to sell 240 passes per day and the park is open 12 hours, then that’s 20 PP guests per hour for each ride. In the unlikely event that all 240 guests turn up to HM at the same time, then for a while the stand-by line is going to be backed up until the LL line clears.

They have a block to sell on each category. LLMP won't be selling passes allocated for LLPP customers.

Is Disney selling enough LLPP to affect distribution
