There was the perception, partially true, many DAS people lied or exaggerated their needs. People have more of an issue with scheemers getting short lines then with people who pay.

I don't think Disney wants deluxe guests dow grading to moderate or value and using the money to pay for LLPP
People whi stay deluxe choose deluxe bc its what they want not to have an option to buy a product. If the product isnt selling they will not lower price 1st imo they will expand who can purchase it… just my thoughts

That's what they should do. IMO lowering the price defeats the purpose of this pass. It's priced the way it is so many don't buy it and overwhelm LL queues.

Only thing imo Disney should have done was start the price” lower” & “sell out” the product to create a buzz and fomo for those on fence and simply raise it from there

I'm sure they want to sell as many as possible, but I have to imagine there's a bigger end game to this as well. I can't imagine it selling well at this insane of a price point, but maybe they figure it won't and the end game is to roll out something in the $100 range that then seems like a "deal" to people.

I hope not. While it doesn't need to be at $400 I do think it needs to be in the $250 range. Many here are used to FP+ and the new multi pass where it's made for everyone. This pass is supposed to be limited.

I don't know, I just feel like there is an end game here to raise some significant prices. Whether it's dropping this down to justify eliminating MP, or keeping this up and just upping MP a lot. Just a bad feeling I have on it.

You're probably right as that all they seem to be doing anymore. Everything they have been doing lately feels like they are in a bit of panic. Attendance isn't anywhere near 2019 levels and it's been going down. To compensate for that they keep raising prices to keep that revenue at the same level.

It will sell out in seconds at $100. MK will sell out quickly at anything under $250.

Has anyone on this forum bought it yet? Other than the bloggers/vloggers, i havent heard of one person buying it yet
We have a baseball tournament in Fort Myers in December and hitting Park 1 day on drive down. Depending on timing when we want to drive, we are either going to get to Orlando night before, do park that day using this pass option, and then that night make drive down to Fort Myers. But if drive works out that we hit area and there is an xmas party, we are likely not getting it, and doing the park and then xmas party, and leaving next morning for Fort Myers.

Depending on how many of you are going, can always book 1 night in a Universal hotel room for $600-$800 for the night and get 2 days worth of Express Pass.....if you have 5 people, thats a great deal, about $150pp for 2 days or $75pp per day

Thats just about as cheap as LLMP and LLSP combined

Even if you dont use the room

At few, one was for Disneyland.

Posters on DIS plan and take more trips in a year then many take in their lifetime. Many posts and threads talk about saving money.

Most DIS members are not the target market for LLPP.

I would absolutely purchase the equivalent for a once in a lifetime trip to Paris or Tokyo.
Edited add My comment regarding DIS should be expanded to include most Disney fan sites.

Is WDWMAGIC UK based? My comment that forum members may visit Disney more times in year then some in.a lifetime might be off. BUT 14 day tickets might still be true

While I don't mind the advice, I am honestly confused by people who come a Disney message board, and make suggestions about going to someplace other than Disney.

I mean if I want to see the Red Sox play, and i am on a Red Sox message board, what does it matter to me what the prices are for yankee game, or a blue jays game. That's not what i like nor want to spend money on.

I don't care about prices at Universal vs Disney, just like I don't care about prices of the ballet or Cedar Point as it compares to Disney. I am a Disney fan, and enjoy going to Disney, and seeing Mickey, and the castle, and haunted mansion, ect. While I am a HP fan and wouldn't mind seeing some of the areas there, no one else in my family could care about it, or have ever read the books/see the movies.

Value is completely subjective. You could give me tickets to Circ de Solie for free, and i would still pay my 10K for a week at Disney, because I am not a fan of Circ de Solie. If its not something i want to see, I don't care about how "great a deal." it is. It's not like i am buying stock here or investing and looking for appreciation of an objective ROI. The only question that matters to a Disney fan is the price i am paying to go to Disney, worth it to me to go Disney, not that I could spend less or more someplace else.

This isn't the Dis, thank god.
