Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Just returned from our WDW trip and gotta say we really enjoyed MultiPass, felt nearly like the old days with FP, just wish they’d eliminate the 1 time per ride limitation.

Frustrating to have to pay for something that was previously free but at least it was a good experience.

If they’d offer a yearly option we’d consider keeping our DL keys but it just doesn’t make financial sense to buy an annual pass and then have to pay an extra $20-30 daily just to enjoy the rides also.
I would like to see a change in how AP holders access LLMP, right now they're at a disadvantage to offsite guests who are at a disadvantage to onsite guests.

The additional silliness is the continued need for park reservations. I was traveling with my in laws (AP Holders) on our recent trip (the rest of us were using length of stay tickets). We were starting at EPCOT and ending at MK. We decided to get VQs for Tiana's, but in order to get it for my in laws I had to change their Park Reservation from EPCOT to MK at 6:58 AM, then change it back to EPCOT after we got the VQ, it worked but was an added unnecessary step.

My proposal for AP Holders is something on par with the length of stay restrictions. If you don't have an on site reservation, you can book 3 days out for up to 5 days over an 8 day window (basically how a 5 day pass works). Currently, offsite AP Holders have to book all LLMP 3 days out and they don't get a "length of stay" extension.

I agree that having to change parks at 7:01 (and hope they are still available) after getting VQ is extremely annoying for AP holders.

You do actually get “length of stay LLMP booking” benefit as long as you are staying on site or certain partner hotels, but if you didn’t, that would make me irate as I woke up at 3:58AM 2-3 days in a row before my trip and 6:58 each day of my trip.

Let’s face it, the AP disadvantages are intended.

They much rather have that family from Denver travel to WDW and stay on site, pay for dated tickets, and spend as much money as possible while they are there.

many of us who go regularly are aware they can get more good rides with (much cheaper) LLMP, if you’re willing to do a tiny bit of planning.

That’s another limiting factor for PP, not only do you need the disposable income but you also need to be able to justify paying a lot more to avoid a little bit of planning, we could technically afford the price but could never justify paying the difference over MP/IP because we already know how to manage the parks, PP would be a tiny benefit to us.

Very fair point... If I was Disney (I hope they don't do this). I would reduce the LLMP options on the high in demand rides (Tiana/Pan/JC/Space/HM/Pooh) in order to sell more LLPP so it doesn't back up... Push those people to Philharmagic and Aladdin.

I don’t think they can do anything to create enough demand for PP to become a mainstream product, it kind of reminds me of the Star Wars hotel, no matter how cool they make it there’s simply not enough people who can afford/justify paying the high price to make it anything more than a niche product for the rich.

The only way we’d ever use MP as APs is if they made it a yearly add on, like they did with Maxpass at DL several years ago. Even if they made everything equal to onsite guests we wouldn’t be able to justify paying extra every single time we went to the parks.

Paying an extra $100-200 a year for MP on top of our keys price would be a no brainer for us, having to pay an extra $20-30 a day just to enjoy the rides has made it so we won’t even bother renewing our DL key anymore.

LL has changed us from frequently going APs to rarely going day guests, they’ll make more per day but lose thousands a year from us, and I suspect we’re not alone on this decision since all Keys are available for sale again, I don’t think Disney thought this one through very well.
