There is 2 ways they could do it. They originally had options of bundling different attractions together for a certain fee. The more I think about it I can see them going the Disneyland Paris route. It's similar to Express Pass at Universal but only can be used once per ride and it is $100 a person per day

for eg. - MK averages 57k people per day.......rope drop is less than 10% of that (i would bet its around 5%) so for everyone else, it's irrelevant

It's got to be more like 10k people in the first half hour, but even at 5700 people on lines in Fantasyland early, that's significant.

1) You do not HAVE to buy Genie+ OR ILLs
2) you DEFINITLY don't need to buy GENIE+ at Epcot or AK.

Boom. Hundreds saved.

I think what all this is finally doing along with people skipping their annual trips bc of Covid opening peoples eye's that there are more places to visit other than Disney,,,, Im not saying all of them but i wouldnt be surprised if that was the case with a segment of those claiming they are no longer going or making their last trip etc...

Aw. Don't psych yourself out. You'll put a lot of pressure on this trip if you say it's your last, trying to make everything perfect.

Try and forget any preconceived ideas you have and just try to enjoy yourself!

Maybe this will be it, maybe it won't.

you do need to if you dont want to wait in long lines.......

and i always had FP+ at Epcot and AK and needed it

boom.....longer lines or spend more money, neither of which i had o my last trip

I know but with everything Disney is doing with the price hikes and everything it's just not financially worth it anymore to us. I actually had to talk my wife down off the ledge the other day when those price hikes hit. I think the only reason she didn't flat out cancel the trip right then was because we were pretty sure the G+ price wasn't going to affect us. She was really ticked off about having to spend the extra $60 on the lightsabers. I know that $60 shouldn't be enough to break the bank and it wasn't. It's just the principle of the matter. When the cost of going to Disney between trips changes from $9,000 to $14,000 without having anything different then it's a bit of a problem. She actually didn't know how much I was spending on this trip and when she found that out she almost canceled back then. I really don't know if I'm going to be able to talk her back into going again.

But like you said, I'm just going to go and have a good time and not worry about it right now.

Sure, when FP+ was free we all used it - even at Epcot. What I am telling you is that you can enjoy every attraction offered on Genie+ for Epcot without paying for Genie+ and still have plenty of time to explore the park.

You are being stubborn for the sake of arguing on this forum. Please just block me because I am certainly blocking you.

That's not true......you cannot enjoy every attraction at Epcot without line skipping........We go to WDW on vacation weeks (because i have young kids) and the parks are always packed and we could NEVER get every ride done, even with FP+, never mind without it

you are being self righteous and trying to make yourself seem smarter than everyone else.......well you're not

you need line skip to enjoy Epcot, you needed it before the new rides, and you need it now more than ever since RemRat and GoG

Didnt you say you were going to Aulani after saying your trip was costing 20k to get park tickets genie etc? So which is it?
