Light A Candle....

I got this e-mail from my sister I don't know if anyone has heard this yet, but I'm gonna post it anyway.

I just heard on the radio that the U.S. has asked that everyone step out on their lawns tonight at 10:30 (EST, so then it would be 9:30 CST, 8:30 MST, etc) and light a candle. They will be taking a satellite picture of the U.S. and posting it on the news tomorrow morning.

I'm afraid my e-mail said 7PM last Friday...everyone in our neighborhood tried, but Gabrielle had other ideas!

You mean to tell me that my parents and I stood outside freezing our......erm......umm.....yeah......and holding candles when it was supposed to be last week?!? No wonder why my neighborhood looked so dark! I'm not going to tell them that tho...it'll be our little secret.

We have left a burning candle out on our front stoop since last Friday.

Harley and I sat outside with a lit candle at 7 pm on Friday. It lasted about 8 minutes until I couldn't take her hopping around anymore..jumping on me, the candle, racing about... We were joined by a lone mourning dove above us...

It's okay Maria - I can laugh at myself about it. The strange thing was that they mentioned it again on the radio last night - oh well! The thought was there, right?
