Life in the parks after Nescafe....

I haven't tried the new coffee yet, but I absolutely detested the Nescafé they sold.. Well, whatever floats your boat I guess ;)

My coffee stop at the parks is the Starbucks on MS and the one in Futureworld, but I almost always have a cup of hot or iced coffee at a local Dunkin Donuts before I head out to the parks.

I love having Starbucks in the parks. Joffrey's isn't my favorite coffee but it's definitely a BIG step up from NesCafe.

While I respect everyone's choice, I must say that what was previously served in the parks was horrible. Maybe it's just because I'm so spoiled with outstanding coffee being where I live & travel. Community & French Market Coffee in Louisiana and that rich coffee of South America have gotten me very spoiled for good coffee.

Ok, we tried the new coffee at the food courts....no thanks. Good thing I brought a large box of Nescafe singles. Can't help it, I like the stuff. (I'm sure some people are rolling their eyes right now)

Hey if Nescafe works for YOU, that's all that matters. Just remind me never to have after dinner coffee at your house :D I respect your bold admission but because it's Necasfe I can't like your post.

I have seen a lot of people say that they enjoyed Starbuck's coffee. Are you talking about the Latte's or the regular coffee. I don't mind the latte, but I often just want a regular cup of coffee and I find Starbucks to be horrible. The Nescafe wasn't much better. I have yet to try the Joffrey's so I'm hoping thats a good one.

Between Disney and where I went to college freshman year making me drink that stuff, I will be happy never having a sip of that coffee flavored sludge again.

Joffrey's isn't outstanding, but it is drinkable and their specialty flavors might be a step up. I am not a fan however of their founder's treatment of Sansa Stark.

Starbucks I like the blonde roast so much better than the Pike Place they give you when you don't specify.

Joffrey's was MUCH better than Nescafe.

During my college days I spent 8 weeks living on the Blackfeet reservation in Montana. The old men make coffee by boiling water in a skillet and dumping coffee grounds in. The result was a cup full of coffee and grounds. Even that, is better than Nescafe. BTW, after the tongue lashing and threats I received, I'm still scared to drink anything but black coffee out of respect for the Chief.

The best coffee at WDW is sold in the shops. Disney Coffee Company has the best coffee hands down. I would buy several cans of it. But then again, I bought a suitcase in Hawaii the last time I was there and filled it with 100% Kona and Kauai coffee I bought at various stores.

I admire your admission of loving Nescafe. :)

I'm Team Dunkin Donuts, too, when it comes to regular cups of coffee. But I brew Starbucks Veranda blend in my Keurig. I had never had Joffrrey's until last year, and it wasn't bad. It was actual coffee instead of syrup concentrate, so to me, it wasn't hard to improve on Nescafe!

Okay I must also admit that I didn't mind Nescafe ;) Starbucks is just a little on the bitter side for me especially in sunny Florida. The lighter Nescafe was easier to drink while heading to your early park destination. I do enjoy Starbucks lattes and their skinny lattes are also pretty good. I will always be on team Dunkin. But don't make fun of me, I live off of free cheap hospital coffee while at work. I can't help but become accustomed to the cheaper things in life.

We aren't fans of Starbucks regular coffees either, we are Dunkin Donuts drinkers (though I do like the specialty drinks). There were 6 adults in our group when we went for 5 days in Dec 2013, and not a single one of us liked the Joffrey's from our food court (Old Port Royale). It was Very strong and tasted burned. I wondered if maybe it was somehow brewed incorrectly, but if so, it was consistantly "wrong" every day that we were there. We all found our own ways to disguise the taste, but no one liked it without some "help". On the other hand, we all have different tastes, and I know some people really like it, so I hope you find that you enjoy it when you get the chance. Hope it's soon!

I think the coffee at the food court must be Joffrey's and it was not good....I can drink the Starbucks blonde, though. Obviously I like a weaker coffee, but that's just MY taste. No offense to others who like the Joffrey's.

We too, found that the Joffrey's had a "burned" taste. Yuk. I hear alot about the Dunkin Donuts coffee, and I'm going to have to try some. Our nearest Dunkin Donuts is about 35 miles away...

oh dear! that is a loooong way away! I don't think I'd be willing to drive that far, even for good coffee :hungry: We mainly buy it to make at home. Besides selling it in the DD stores, around here (NC) it's also available in some grocery stores. Even if you didn't like it, that would cost less than the gas for round trip....unless you're just looking for a little road trip! ;)
