I can't deal with y'all lol
Honestly though, I know the trains won't be completely driverless, moreso automated. With this in play, there's more safety to allow guests in the front.
How you gonna change MY uniform concept lolLet's see, there is so much to address
1. WDW Monorails seem to be the B-52s of the tracked transport world. Aren't some B-52s over 50 years old?
2. Basic uniform should be white-ish or off-white-ish to allow CM uniform belts colored to match the monorail they are serving on. Station CM's same basic uniform with rainbow belts or at least multiple color stripes.
3. Just cannot see that guests will ever ride front and/or back again.

I thing that B-52's were introduced in 1952, thus the name B-52. However, I don't think any of the originals are still in service. They just keep making new ones.
I actually want to include a shorts option too. I just didn't get to it.Your concept is nice, but you NEED shorts. The platforms get mighty hot in the summer - especially when a train is sitting in the station spewing additional heat.
It was probably like Disney and they started thinking it would be completed by 1952 and due to engineering delays it never showed up until 1954. It wasn't really put into service until 1955. I was just being facetious anyway because of the nature of the post I responded to, but, I really wouldn't be surprised if my guess there is pretty close to accurate and 52 was the working code for the project.Actually it was 1954
I've ridden both the NYC Subway and the MetroRail over in Washington. Let me tell you there must be a huge difference between Washington's and New York's systems.Trust me, I've been on the subway plenty of times

I don't want to see them anymore. I grew up on the south gate of Plattsburgh AFB, NY. A place with a huge fleet of Nuclear Armed B-52's on 24/7 full alert. Right during the heat of the cold war and through the Cuban Missile crisis, I saw a lifetime of those birds. Majestic as they were.they are all originals. The last one produced was in 1962. They are periodically taken out of service and completely updated, though. We also have a much smaller fleet than we used to.
You can see a bunch of the decommissioned ones on Google maps at the Arizona boneyard (309 AMARG). If you get to the area, they do tours of the boneyard and its pretty cool. Basically, all the old and retired planes sit there in a junkyard, so they can reclaim parts for planes still in service.

That is just one of the numerous reasons why the DC Metro is a disaster. Having multiple different (mostly dysfunctional) jurisdictions trying to jointly manage the system without being willing to adequately fund it is part of the problem as well. This also contributes to a WMATA bureaucracy that is highly inefficient. Service problems led to declining ridership, thus even less money. It's truly a mess.Yes, Washington's Metro is literally falling apart. I lived in Rosslyn for 5 years (that's in Arlington, VA right across Key Bridge from Georgetown for those somewhat familiar with the area) and rode almost every day. They don't do preventive maintenance.
Actually the B52's originated in the mid 70's out of Athens, GA. They have played live at WDW's Pleasure Island in the past. I think New Years 2000.
That's pretty close to the monorail system.
I'm trying to bring this post back on track. I don't know if I'm helping?
First rule of Disney forums: You don't talk about monorails. What have I done lol
