It's amazing I have encountered a lot of rude people on this trip. I know when someone is being rude.....not just when I'm in a bad mood either. Look.....i didn't come on here to get grilled....just stating what I have observed and experienced! Not looking here for pity parties either! Just stating the facts! If I perceive as someone being rude....then yes....u are rude! Plain and simple!!!!! These people were RUDE!!!!! They weren't telling me no! I'm definitely sure I know the difference. Where I used to work If we were being perceived as rude then dang it u we're rude. No further explanation needed!

And in the honor system about the freakin dessert.....I didn't want it at that time. U are allowed to go back and get it later up to 90 minutes which I intended to do. The cm enrique said I couldn't do it unless I wanted ice cream only. Last time I checked u are allowed anything at the dessert counter! So don't tell me what i can and cannot do! I think I'm pretty sure I know how the ddp works! I've been coming to his place for 11 years now! I'm not A newbie here! Seems like everyone has an opinion and I appreciate them but not when ur grilling me. Why are some people so crazy like that?

I went back and re-read the posts. I don't see anyone "grilling you". Some opinions were offered, some which agreed with you, some that didn't.

Being told you can't do something you want or may be able to do is not inherently rude... the cast member might just have been misinformed on the rules. It's also possible the rules were changed from your last visit, as that can happen.

Thank God for the new "Like" option. Makes typing out my own rant unnecessary (although sometimes still fun).....

When there is an attitude in the voice.....it's rude!

Since you found attitude in the "voices" of people here on the boards offering their opinions, I'm not sure you are the best at judging that. From what you've posted, it seems that those who disagree with you or tell you no are rude or out to get you. I think you are just reading too much into it all.

Regardless, I sincerely hope you didn't let these few small issues ruin your vacation. Because, like you said, you spent a lot of money, and to let a few perceived rude accounts ruin it is just as much your fault as it is theirs.

All right, I tried....

And rudeness is a two-way street. As others have said, perhaps he was unaware of the procedures, or perhaps things have changed since your last visit. it is possible that after a certain time the only dessert you are able to go back and get is ice cream. Just as it is possible your tone was not as pleasant as it could have been......

I find it remarkable you run into so many rude CMs at WDW. In my 20+ years of going to WDW I might be able to count on one hand the number of CMs that might have been considered rude.....actually rude, not just telling me no.
I'd have to agree with this. We've had a few in all our years of visiting but the amount of wonderful CMs far outweighs them. It's a case of not letting "one bad apple ruin the bunch." Sure there were some that were upholding the rules and others who maybe took their role a little to seriously but I don't count them in the 'rude' category.
