Les Chefs des France...

I was there a couple weeks ago. I had the short ribs with pasta. It was good and the portion was huge, but it seriously needs more vegetables or something. The dish is a little "one-note", if you know what I mean.

I don't know where the OP read that it was "that bad"....it consistently gets some of the best reviews at Epcot. I lived in Paris for years, and the food here is typical northern French bistro fare, and it is good.

Prices are also good -- you can get the three course prix fix meal at the same price you would be paying for burgers at the quick service stands....

Love Chefs de France....it's a regular stop at every visit.

I guess I should add: If you do not like French bistro food, you will not like this restaurant....it does not cater to the burger and salad desires of some visitors.

It needs a good steak frites done with an onglet.

Other than that, our cheif complaint is we can't decide what to get in there. My oldest agonizes between the duck and the filet. Me, its a choice between short ribs, duck, or the chicken.

Derp.

I just realized I used "des", when I should have used "de."

Apologies.

Forty lashes with a wet noodle for me.

This restaurant does not have a bad reputation and I love eating there.

I think it depends upon the source of information. I have seen mixed reviews here and there. I try to get my information from places like this where I can have some interaction with people.

You can read the reviews at All Ears, but they censor reviews there and sometimes they don't publish them at all. I posted a review about Susnshine Seasons 4 years about a large fly problem there. We were swatting them away while we were eating, left, right and center. I had never seen it before and I haven't seen it since, thankfully. It did not get published. Likewise, I have had sentences removed from reviews that discussed poor service or uncleanliness.

I just want the straight dope.

Nonetheless, I am encouraged by what I am reading here. :)
