The lobster bisque is da bomb there. Had the duck...it was pretty good. The seafood main is not worth it IMHO. The beef tenderloin is probably pretty good if cooked right.

haven't been for dinner in quite a while but have been in twice for lunch. love the croque monsieur and the cheese plate is nice. I especially love love love the goat cheese they serve. I could just eat that particular goat cheese with bread and walk away very happy.

Agreed. Try Via Napoli - really yummy pizza & italian food.

But if you're dead set on Chefs de France...I'd say get the lobster bisque. It was the only good thing about the meal. The macaroni & gruyere cheese was :hurl:. Soooo bland. Like eating plain noodles & cream.

The short rib is good. I liked the baked Mac-n-cheese dish quite well. The lobster bisque is heavenly. DH would slap his momma for the onion soup and that's saying something. The chocolate cake dessert dish is to die for. We like to ask the proper pronunciations of things and attempt to order 'en France'. Makes for some bonus fun. Lol! In January 2010 my youngest had the ratatouille and loved it. He ate his and his brother's (the other son doesn't eat hardly any veggies so no surprise). I'm not sure what time Remy appears. I think he has Sundays off but I could be mistaken.

We've not had a bad meal at Les Chefs in 3 dinners and a lunch since January 2010. We choose this over LeCellier. I think everyone has different tastes/palettes.

Have fun!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Epcot...if you like French Food. I lived in Paris for years, and this is the closest that I've found to the "real deal" besides Cafe Claude in San Francisco.

People might not like it, but then I will assume they will probably be the same folks that wouldn't like the food in France either.

Their French Onion Soup is excellent, as is the Lobster Bisque. Stay away from any dish that looks like it's an american dish to satisfy the people in your party who have no interest in French food.

I have never had anything here that is bad. At lunchtime, the best thing on the menu is the prix fix 20.00 menu that includes soup, an entree, and dessert.

The chocolate gateau (cake) here is excellent.

The French onion soup is really good and the roasted chicken tastes like it was made in someone's kitchen (someone who is a really good cook!). I love the atmosphere in there--it's easily the prettiest dining room of all the non-signature restaurants.

You really can't go wrong here. It's a solid, decent meal that sometimes approaches excellent. The service is good as well.

LOL! You just don't know! Until I came along the old man was a momma's boy thru-n-thru. His mother still tells me how she used to really worry that whoever he married wouldn't get the full on-the-pedestal treatment she always got. She knew it'd be a very bad thing if she still ranked over the spouse. All turned out well, though. I was elevated to the top-notch right away. But still, the hubby (& I) has a very soft spot for his mother. I don't believe he'd slap her if someone put a gun to his head & told him to do it. However, place a bowl of the French onion soup in front of him and I dunno.....
