So my last WDW trip for a while is happening tomorrow, and I want to make sure this is perfect. However, there are probably some things I didn't know about, so I'd like to know what is special that you guys pack!

Packing now...

make sure to take any kind of cold medicine or headache med. etc. they are hard to find at disney and expensive. have a great time. also I take one of those over the door cloth shoe racks and hang at resort and put all my things like hairspray, toothpaste, etc. in keeps things neat and out of the way.

Pack small packs of kleenex! I was struck with a stuffy nose during my trip a few years ago and could not find kleenex anywhere. I finally found some in the baby centers. But I wish I had packed my own...much cheaper too!

Band aids, blister pads, antibacterial gel (bath and body works has a bunch of different scents...like over 20! and they are only $1. Love them!) and maybe some little snacks to munch on! Have a great time!!

I second the medicine, tissues, etc. Its flu season, and as Steve posted a couple of days ago, its hitting central Florida. I usually bring medicines, antibacterials, etc. The medicine will be much more expensive at the resort (trust me, I got a nasty head cold while there one year... that was the last time I didn't pack medicine). I usually get the mini first aid kits at Target ($1 or so by Johnson & Johnson). I end up coming back with everything, but you can never be too safe :)

Pack plenty of ziploc bags, all sizes! Keep them in your purse...they are like swiss army knives when at Disney.) Also...travel packs of clorox wipes, in case your child decides to dance in someone's vomit like mine did. I always pack clorox wipes, antibacterial (but safe for hands) wipes, and cottonelle freshwipes. Antibacterial gel is close to impossible to find at Disney...so pack plenty! Pack at least 3 more outfits than you think you will need. don't forget your cell phone charger! Oh and tums...for all that great food you're going to be eating! Gosh, I love packing for Disney. It's like a 3 weeks process for me.

um, clothes.

seriously though, people mentioned detergent. dont forget a couple of dryer sheets in a ziploc and toss them in the suitcase too. blister care supplies (moleskin, athletic tape, etc). oh, and a small scissors- those collapsible kind to be able to cut the tape and stuff (dont carry on though). sunglasses. allergy medicine (if youre like me :dazzle:). any documentation for your trip. make sure you got your cash situation locked down when you leave as well as your household (mail any bills, etc) vacation proof the house. get your transportation situation in order- charge the ipod, buy a magazine, etc. maybe check the weather as you get close and tweak the wardrobe as necessary- something i wish i did last year when it was beyond unseasonably cool in january (and im from chicago) i only brought 2 pairs of pants and one hoodie for a 10 day trip (did extra laundry as a result and lots o shorts didnt get worn). oh, oh, if you like non-alcohol mouthwash bring it. i think i only saw listerine at CSR, but i could be wrong. oh and me- i want to go too

i cant complain. i am going to DLR for 5 days in FEB. anyone want a trip report?

I would like to add for the germaphobic-- Lysol. I bought some before our last trip in a small spray bottle. Before anyone could touch anything, I sprayed all light switches, door knobs, telephone, remote, around the toilet--especially the flusher-- by the faucet. I'm not sure there wasn't anything that didn't get sprayed, come to think of it...

Have a magical trip!

That is a way better idea than my clorox wipes, because you can spray everything down. I will have to add that to my list.

Purell makes this great detergent/dryer sheet combo that is all dry and comes in a dispenser box. These are the greatest and absolutely no liquids to spill.

Pack something warm to wear. We just back this morning and the weather forcast next week is chilly. It's supposed to be highs in the low 60's and lows in mid/high 30's. Have a great time!!
