Thanks fellow, posters for all your tips....we board a plans I Atlanta late this afternoon headed to CA. Our first day in the parks will be tomorrow. As a usual WDW traveler, I have tried to take your advice and not plan out our DL trip and it has left me in a pile of knots. Lol! So here we go with the 5 year old, just hoping we can relax and enjoy the DL and DCA parks....I believe the crowds will be low this week, so it all may work out ....any last advice ? Thanks again for all the tips!

Thank you Raven24! You have been exceptionally helpful and polite...I am sure I speak for for others on here also, but thank you for taking so much of your personal time to help so many families with your knowledge of DL and DCA! Your are a very special person! I still may be asking questions after we arrive..lol

Aaww, thank you so much!!! That was great to hear this morning, as I get ready for class.:)

Please continue to ask questions, if you have any. I have another piece of advice I forgot to mention. If you're interested in seeing one of the Fantasy Faire shows, make sure to get there at least 30-40 minutes before show time. The benches fill up very quickly.

Do you happen to have a DL annual passport of by kind? Or did you just buy park hopper tickets?

Every word was true!

Do you have any advice on 2 adults and a 5 year old for then RSR...single rider line is really not an option.
We are from Alabama for we don't have a DL annual pass, but we have bought a 4 day hopper with 1 early morning.

Okay, just checking because DL has separate LTM events for annual passholders, with an upcoming event this Friday.

I definitely wouldn't recommend single rider, since your child is only five years old. Just get there as early as possible. Since you're here during the week, crowds shouldn't be too bad, so hopefully the standby line won't be too long.

Oh...and that for the Fantasy Faire show...had not thought about the line for the shows, and it is a must see for us....our son loves all characters, princesses, pirates, and whatever...except the scary ones!

If your son is easily scared, you might want to skip rides like Snow White, Mr. Toad and maybe even Pinocchio. Those three are the rides kids are most terrified of and come off the rides in tears or screaming. Just a warning.

Yay!!!!! I know you are in the middle of your trip right now and I hope you are having an amazing time. Disneyland is my home and I am so excited when other people get to experience its joy and magic. Looking forward to hearing about your trip when you get back! :)
