least wanted ride to work in

Primevil Whirl - I just could not cope with the "Please stand up before exiting... BYE BYE" thing all day long.

Meh, you learn to tune that stuff out. I have to hear "do not pull down on the safety bar please. . ." every 5 seconds or so for an hour at a time. I don't think I've actually heard it in a long time.

I would say:

1. Tiki Room/Small Room tie for 1st - either would be a sure one-way Express ride to insanity :p

I would think Tiki Room would drive you FAR more crazy than Small World. At Small World there are only a couple positions, none of them anywhere near singing, just background music, and one you're sitting down in a tower.

The rest of the time, you're at Pan, Carousel, Pooh and Snow White.

2. Hall of Presidents - I like the show...I just don't know what they pump through the vents but I always seem to get really drowsy in there. :snore:

But you're only up for 30 minutes every 1 1/2 hours, talking to guests. The other 30 you're in the theater (in the dark) or on break.

My personal hell was Disney Showcase on Main St USA - the video loop was only about 10 minutes long. Hearing "Bill Nye, the Science Guy" 6 times an hour for 12 hours a day made me want to fight.

I would dread working in any of the counter service food places. I did the "McDonalds thing" when I was a kid. Never again.

Other than that...I'd be willing to work pretty much anywhere in Disney.
If I got to choose.....definately HM. I LOVE that ride soooo much.
SSE would be ok too. ToT would be great. All sorts of good places to be. And like I said....not too many bad ones.

I agree with that! I think I'd work any job at WDW, excluding food service. I couldn't deal with any of what goes on there. (Actually, I don't think I could do custodian either. Then again I'm not sure how bad it could be. When I worked at Publix I saw some seriously terrible things that still gives me chills, 5yrs later. Not sure WDW could be much much worse).

I would say the land...just because you have to do the same tour over and over and over each day.:hammer:
Yeah, thanks a lot... LOL JK. The Land is kind of boring but I think the people make it bad. All of the other FW West Attractions Cast seem close knit but The Land is the exception. Nobody is close and the ride is mind-numbingly easy. The costume is terrible and we have no theme. We need a refurb. Luckily I am putting in for a transfer for my next season to something...anything that could be better.

Small world hands down. Can't imagine hearing that song over and over and over.....:hammer:

Again, you don't really hear the song. It's in the background, no singing. And one of the positions has you sitting down, indoors.

And of the many, many spots on that rotation, there are only something like 3-5 at Small World. It's conveivable to not be there all day.

It's cliche, really, Small World's not that bad.

Tiki Room is not too bad. Because it's in the same rotation as Aladdin and the Swiss Family Treehouse. And if you're working the Aladdin Complex for the day, Tiki Theater is the only indoor Air Conditioned position that you get to sit down for ten minutes. Plus rotations are usually only 45 minutes so you will do only about 4 full shows. I have had days where I never stepped foot in the tiki room. And Trust me, when your costume is 100% polyester anything indoors is more than welcomed. Did I mention it has AC.

First Rides i would not like to work:

Test Track- The sole honest reason that it gets so crowded, people get grumpy and everything
Stitch-Could not stand listening to that all day
Small world-Same thing^^^
Nemo Musical-Was not very fascinated

Probably some others

Places id love to work:
Kilimanjaro Safaris- I have always wanted to be a guide, this ride amazes me so much, and i love to be around animals.
Splash Mountain-Love the environment, my fav ride in disney
Expedition Everest-The environment is really cool
Philharmagic- I could never get enough of watching that show, its a great show to see and it never gets old to me
Spaceship Earth- Hey, walking on the rotating station thing must make you lose a couple pounds

About SSE:

Lots of people think "oh, it'll be cool, working inside the ball!"

Yeah, not really. None of the working positions go inside the ball unless the ride breaksdown. They work load or unload and the greeter. Lots of rides are like this, very few have CM's inside doing anything which would have them seeing the majority of the show.

That's why if something is majorly broken in an attraction, it's a good idea to tell a CM when you get off because they might not know about it yet.
