Least favorite

Least favorite would have to be the pink elephants from Dumbo. They freaked me out as a kid and they still do. They are like some bad hallucination. They are worse than clowns (don't get me started on clowns). Gives me the shivers just thinking about them.

As for the name of the villian in Mulan - when I first saw the movie I thought they called him Shamu  . I thought "man Disney is really taking a shot at Sea World" but by the end of the movie I realized that wasn't his name.

My favorite used to be Winnie the Pooh but as I get older Donald Duck has started to pass him on the list. I like Pooh for his philosophical (sp?) nature (or maybe he's just stupid). I like Donald for his attitude.

The problem with Pooh is that threatens the existance of Mickey. I mean every where you turn in Disney World and the Disney Store you see Pooh, it was worse a few years ago, but still it was all started with a MOUSE not a stupid old bear who can barly remember his own name. Pooh brings in money so he's not all bad.

You are not alone-- I am terrified of clowns!

Least favorite character-- hmm, I will have to give that some thought.

Its funny. When I was a kid I used to look around WDW and say why does everything have to be Mickey? When are they going to have some Pooh stuff?!? Now that I'm grown up I look around WDW and say enough with the Pooh stuff already. I think that the popularity/mass marketing of Pooh is part of the reason I have started to favor Donald. That and the fact that he had to have his ride where Toad Hall was.

And I did forget to mention that I really like Mr. Toad, too (though some might have guessed).

Least Favorite!

My least favorite character would be Dumbo. I think Dumbo should just fly right out of Disney altogether. I don't know what it is about him, I just don't care for him.:fork:

And I also agree with Mr. Toad about the pink elephants. The whole movie bothers me.

I wouldn't say that I am terrifeid of clowns. They just give me the creeps due to the fact that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that clowns are evil.

OK, maybe I am terrified of some of them.

Hmm, La Nouba should be interesting (this just in...a man ran screaming from the Cirque du Soleil building in WDW last night...)

Oh God... I hate clowns too! I´m afraid of them! My kids will not have a childhood, they won´t go see clowns unless someone other than me takes them to see them! ;)

....and yeah... they look evil. :lookaroun

Yeah, those clowns is Dumbo are pretty creepy.

Satan + Make-up = Clowns....or Pamela Anderson.

It is good to know that I am not alone :) . My friends and family often give me grief about my position on clowns. Hah, the joke's on them - they will be the first ones the clowns come for...(I warned you not to get me started).

And I agree about the clowns in Dumbo. After the pink elephants they are my second least favorite character. It amazes me that I actually like Dumbo. (Had to bring this post back on topic :animwink: ).

I had childhood nightmares about this very thing! The clowns would come, and no one but I knew they were evil- and the clowns KNEW that I knew- so they would look at me with very sinister smiles- And then I would wake up only to find my clown lamp staring at me from my dresser.

Was that a cruel gift, or what?? I still don't know who's responsible!

Just for the record........

I hate clowns too! I agree with everything that has been said about them so far. Very scary, and my kids don't have any clowns or clown things, and haven't seen any IRL, either.

Question for Mr. Toad: I know clowns are evil too, but I couldn't tell you why I feel this way. Maybe I blocked it out of my memory. How do you know they are evil???

I don't think there is a Disney character that is "my least favorite", but there are some characters that for whatever reason, story, character development, drawing, etc., just didn't quite "click" with the Disney magic. They are:

1. Frollo from "Hunchback". Poorly drawn, and the "sexual " was not appropriate for a Disney animated movie.

2. Many of the characters from "Robin Hood". I think the movie concentrated too much on animation, and storyline/character development suffered.

3. Both main characters from the first "Rescuer" movie. See reasons for #2. I thought the sequel was a big improvment.

I don't think clowns are bad or evil, they just aren't funny to me. And then there's the clown from "IT". Now that's a CLOWN!:lookaroun

My least favorite character would have to be that little goblin looking thing from The Black Cauldron. He was voiced by John Byrne, but i can't remember his name....someone help me. Oh and i hated the pig from that movie...maybe it was the whole movie :hurl:

As opposed to a Mouse who you'd think is on acid by the way he talks and hops around..giggling all the time.

I love Peter Pan in the Movie but at WDW he always fails to impress me, far to girlieand certainly doesn't look like he could handle the Hook:animwink:
