Least busy day of the week at WDW?

I searched the posts but haven't found a definitive post on this (I probably didn't try hard enough). I will pull out the guidebooks again, but thought I'd ask your advice.
Thanks

In the past the parks were somewhat less crowded on Weekends as folks were either traveling to, or home from WDW. I don't think this is true so much any more. However, one or more of the parks will be quieter than the others on any particular day of the week. The best place for this information is touringplans.com. They charge a very small membership fee for the site, but it gives you a year membership and its well worth it.

The nice part about going in September is that its one of the quieter parts of the year. We've always toured then with nice weather and really minimal wait times compared to the rest of the year.

Have a good trip.

Weekends are actually more crowded because the Florida locals have more time on the weekends. In the off season when the hours are shorter they often only do night parades and fireworks on the weekends. This also attracts the locals.

Not in the past few years since they have had the Free Dining Plan. We go every September and for the past 2 years the parks have been only slightly less crowded than the middle of the summer.

same here. we have went in Sept. the past 2 years & it is more crowded each year. we are going again this sept. i am curious to see if the crowds have dropped due to the rising fuel costs.

A cast member told us you stay away from MK on the weekends. The locals all go then and when guests start their vacations that is the first place they go to and alot of people squeeze that last ride on the HM or POC before they go home.

I've been told that it's Friday, because people arrive at the beginning of the week and want to do it all the time and then move on to other things by the end of the week.

I'll tell you what the worst day is, IMO of course, but it's MONDAY!! I guess that would go along with the above theory that people have arrived and want to all do the MK.

The unofficial guide has a breakdown of general attendance rules per-park, per-day. Also, it's a given that when there's a morning EMH in a park, it will probably be busier than usual. The only one I really remember so far is AK is supposedly the slowest usually on a Sunday.

Last year the crowds were great in September, even less crowded than when we went in late Feb/early March. Labor Day wasn't even that bad. The only day that was bad our entire trip was the first Saturday of our trip (Labor Day Weekend) MK was crowded but still only 30 minute waits on the major rides. The table services were more crowded than other trips but we were still seated immediately. Hope it is as good this year!
