Alright...I'm sorry, but I don't really want to stay up till 3am:p

I'm gonna put something together for those two attractions - if you guys have stuff done feel free to add it in tomorrow though DMO might not count it towards judging - it's always nice to see what you came up with!:)

I'm very sorry that I didn't get Fantasmic up. I got really busy with work and filling in for our concierge and ending up working 6 days in a row that it all got away from me for a bit.

  • Two classic--yet updated--dark rides. You can add two classic dark rides, but I'd really like to see you update them for a new generation. You can pick from the following.
    • Snow White's Scary Adventures
    • Pinocchio's Daring Journey
    • Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
    • Alice in Wonderland
    • Peter Pan's Flight
    • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    • Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
  • One all-new dark ride. For this, I want you to take one classic Disney movie--one that does not have a dark ride based upon it--and make a dark ride out of it.
  • Although I won't ask you to do anything crazy with them, I'd like to see the carousel, Dumbo, "it's a small world" and the tea cups on your map.
  • A show. I'd like to add in a show to play in a theatre in your Fantasyland. It can be an adaptation of one Disney movie (i;e Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Legend of the Lion King) or a show combining elements of many (i;e Animazement, Mickey and the Magical Map). And don't worry about coming up with one by yourself. You can pick from any show you want. YouTube and Google will help you out.
  • Something inside the castle. I don't care what--a restaurant, a shop, a walk-through--just do whatever you wish.
  • Two restaurants and three shops.
Alrighty so just copied over what DMO had for the attraction prompt so we know what we need to design...

Fantasyland has so many possibilities

Starting from the top...my pick for updated classic dark rides would be Mr. Toad and Peter Pan's Flight...but maybe if we are feeling ambitious we could do more?
I have been waiting to make an Ahgrabah mini-land for a long time. It'll include a Magic Carpet Ride and a banquet hall. Can I do this please?
Flippin has this! I'm assuming you'll have a restaurant and shop somewhere in the land...so now we are down to 1 restaurant and 2 shops left. Also is your Magic Carpet Ride a dark ride? Because if so that covers the "all new" dark ride requirement.

I've got an idea for a small show that could be considered Fantasmic's daytime sister and performed the same stage.
Go right ahead that sounds cool!
- Dumbo, Tea Cups, Carousel all coming over with the new land as requested
- We also need a theater show - I was thinking Philarmagic would be the obvious choice...but maybe we could go with something different.
- A walk through of the castle could be neat...but if anyone has any suggestions feel free.
- Then we finish up with some restaurants and shops - boom done!

- I also like Casey Jr. Train...and the idea of a Fantasyland Forest type setting mixed with the medieval architecture. And the Storybook canal boats...if we have room.

I personally think we should keep Pooh and either Peter Pan or Alice in Wonderland. But that's just my opinion...
Let's go with that!

Actually that's good because maybe we can update Pooh to the trackless ride system like Pooh's Honey Hut! Because DMO said we have to upgrade the classics.

So far I've gotten an idea for a new stage show that is based on The Aristocats. It's similar to The Lion King and Finding Nemo musical where some of the characters are using puppets while the others are dressed in costumes. I'm picturing the puppets being the goose sisters and the drunk uncle goose . I'm imagining these puppets to be like the Timon puppet seen in the The Lion King Musical with the actors dressed in white 1900s outfits.

(My idea for a Dark Ride can be themed after The Rescuers. I'm imaging this ride to be a motion simulator ride similar to Soarin but with more special effects and is similar to the Hogwarts and Spider-Man attraction in Universal Orlando. The ride takes place after the second film and you are joined by Bianca and Bernard and a new rescue mission. The queue is set inside the Rescue Air Society meeting room and they later encounter an AA version of the bird that flies Miss Bianca and Bernard.

Note: I've forgotten what the names for the goose from The Aristocats and the birds name from The Rescuers. So can anyone reply to this and tell me what there names are. I also forgot what type of bird or pelican was in The Rescuers so feel free to let me know alright.)

Ok so I kind of lied about it being a small scale show. It started small but just kind of blew up as I went on, but anyways:
Remember the Magic
While Mickey's imagination comes alive at night, during the day a huge revue of Disney characters comes alive on stage, on water, and even in the aisles as the park celebrates the creativity Disney with Dreams, Adventure, Beauty, Wishes, and it's all wrapped up in a Magic bow in a spectacle that can only be described as true Disney magic.
Opening
  • Remember the Magic
  • Dancers, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy onstage
Dreams
  • A celebration of the dreams that we've shared
  • I'm Wishing/One Song
  • A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
  • Once Upon a Dream
  • Snow White, Prince, Cinderella, Charming, Aurora, Phillip onstage
  • Small sets rise up from stage lifts. Wishing well, fountain and bridge, and forest
Adventure
  • A celebration of the adventures we've taken
  • Just Around the River Bend
  • Prince Ali
  • Circle of Life
  • Dancers onstage, barges, and in seating area during Prince Ali and Circle of Life. Pocahontas on stage alone surrounded by large forest set. Aladdin, Genie on stage during Prince Ali. Rafiki on large Pride Rock barge during Circle of Life.
Beauty
  • A celebration of the beauty we've seen
  • I See the Light
  • My Belle, Evangeline
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Large transforming set for segment. Large lanterns on barges and on stage with Flynn and Rapunzel in canoe. Lanterns transform into fireflies and lilypads with Tiana and Naveen on barge. Large ballroom set rises from stage and fireflies and lilypads turn into candelabras with Belle and Beast on stage.
Wishes
  • A celebration of the wishes we've made
  • Part of Your World
  • Reflection
  • For the First Time in Forever
  • Ballroom set transforms into Ariel's grotto. One side of Ariel's grotto changes to Mulan's garden, other side turns into Arendelle castle which opens up to reveal Elsa.
Magic
  • A celebration of Disney magic
  • When You Wish Upon A Star
  • Every character seen in the show comes onstage accompanied by their respective matching dancers, finishing with Mickey and Friends.
Thoughts?

Here's one of the flat rides. We could possibly use this to replace Dumbo or the Mad Tea Party.

Higitus Figitus!
This is basically a twist on the classic tilt-a-whirl attraction you can find at your local country fair, based on Disney's adaptation of the King Arthur, The Sword in the Stone... Specifically, one of the film's musical numbers, "Higitus Figitus" (hence the tile). The attraction, unlike most tilt-a-whirls, is held indoors. The attraction's interior is themed around Merlin's cottage. Each ride vehicle is some knickknack Merlin has lying around and seats a maximum of three riders. In the center of the room, Merlin stands with his magic wand, singing. Occasionally, he'll point his wand at your ride vehicle, causing it to light up (via fiber-optics). Above the attraction's entrance perches Merlin's pet owl Archimedes, who occasionally makes sarcastic comments about his owner's way of packing his things.

Nice job with these two!

Ah...yet sadly I forgot that the due date was tonight...so not sure what to do

If we are going to have something...I personally think Disneyland Paris Fantasyland is the coolest version of them all

If we modeled our Fantasyland after this...threw in the rides you guys did...maybe we could come up with something...thoughts?
