Le Cellier: truffle butter or bust?

I have had those three (along with a few others) and totally agree. 3 of the best meals I have had. I am going to the Yacht for the first time in about six weeks on cash. As it seems we may have similar likes, what would you recommend? (Sorry to hijack NJ.)
You are fine. Maybe hearing other people's favorites might inspire me to pick another place I wasn't thinking of.

Sorry, but I don't think that's quite fair. Just because SOME picky eaters may expect the group to make dining decisions around them doesn't mean we all do that. At 31 years old, I have known toddlers that have liked a bigger variety of foods than I do. But I can usually find *something* to work with at just about every restaurant. And you know what? If I don't find a full meal at the restaurant that I like, I find a snack later and make do. Not the end of the world.

@PrincessNelly_NJ has she seen the menu for Yachtman?
They picky eater would love Yachtsman, but my other sister is not a beef fan. So I'll have to see if she can work with the non-beef options.

The person can't find anything on the menu at Artist Point or Cali Grill? What does the person eat? Good lord.

I don't think you would like me very much lol... I've looked at both of those menus, and they scare me. Just being honest. I'll admit that I wish I was more adventurous, but I just never have good luck with those kinds of menus.

Not to pick on you, but they have flatbread, steak, pork, scallops, and chicken at Cal grill... What scares you?

Lol... you're not picking on me. I walked into that one. Frankly, it's the combination of the flavors that intimidates me a little. I'm going to come across as completely ignorant when I say this, but I'm looking at the menu right now and it seems like every single item has something that I'm not familiar with. So going somewhere like that would be a bit overwhelming, because I'd have to research every single menu item beforehand or look like an idiot when we get there and ask for explanations about what some of that stuff is.

I guess it would only be fair to mention, though, that I can only eat about 2-3 ounces of meat at a time due to surgery. So part of it is that, if I'm paying that much money for a meal, I need to be sure it's going to be something I'll enjoy, which is only made more true by how restrictive my stomach is. The wrong combinations of flavors or textures can make me ill, and I would hate to experience something like that in such a fancy place as Cali Grill.

What about Citricos which seems to have a variety, you can get a filet if you are beef lover, there is a chicken breast dish, a veal shank as well as several fish choices including striped bass and tuna. It should satisfy the picky eater and your sister who doesn't like steak. We haven't eaten there in a couple of years because my wife is partial to Narcoosees but we have never had a bad meal at Citricos.

I don't think she will like Citricos either. We tried to get her to try sushi, she acted like she was dying! LOL
I may just switch to Narcoossee's. I have been there before and had a decent meal.

Citricos got rid of their veal shank and now it's a stuffed veal chop :(

Disney restaurants will make you WHATEVER YOU WANT. You don't have to pick the combo served with the meal.

Be Our Guest serves cream cheese icing on their Strawberry Cupcakes. I HATE cream cheese. They made me 2 of them with butter cream. All you have to do is ask while being reasonable. You can't go requesting things they don't have but if they have it they will make it for you.

The filet at Cali Grill is served with tomato butter and tomato risotto. I got mine with mashed potatoes. If I did not want the tomato butter I could have had that made without it.

I am a VERY picky eater and there is not one place on property I would shy away from because of that. They will accommodate you.
