Le Cellier Portion Size

We have eaten at Le Cellier several times and have always enjoyed it. The pictures of the food from there lately make the portion size seem very small. Have they reduced the portion size at lunch since it is only 1 DDP credit? We are having lunch there on 12/26/11 and was wondering if it is stiil as great as it once was.:veryconfu

When we ate lunch there in June, the filet that the people at the next table had seemed about the same as I had before the change.
And the burgers we had at my table were hands-down the largest (and best) burgers we'd ever had.

Well lunch portions are usually smaller? Look at Biergarten, smaller selection.

DH & I were just there for lunch a couple weeks ago and it's possible the portion size was a bit smaller, but it's still fabulous and plenty of food :slurp:

We ate there for lunch twice in May, after the DDP dinner change. The portions didn't seem any smaller (in fact, I always have a hard time finishing a meal there due to the soup and breadstick extravaganza.) I have noticed, though, that the plates are huge and make the portions seem small in photos.

I ate there on Monday for lunch and I got the filet which the waitress told me is 5oz. The NY strip is larger, I think 10oz. The burger my mother had was pretty good sized. My sister got the chocolate cake for dessert however and it seemed a lot smaller than before they changed it. There were also no colorful Mickey sprinkles on it!! lol

The only think that changed in size is the Chocolate Whiskey Cake.

We just ate at Le Cellier for lunch and everything was delicious as always. As always I came away full and none of the portions seemed smaller. Service as usually was wonderful and our server was very attentive. I can't wait for our next trip to eat there again. 3rd time we have celebrated an anniversary there. This year it was our 43rd wedding anniversary.

I hope you are as satisfied as we were. It was one of our best meals.
