Starting March 1, 2011, Le Cellier is 2 Dining Credits for dinner. This confirms an earlier rumor, but lunch remains.

Twice in a row, I've been beaten by 1 minute! LOl

There is NO WAY if I were on the dining plan again I would use 2 credits for Le Cellier. It is a nice place, but just NOT the end all be all so many make it out to be. There are so many more places to get a steak that are even better.

I enjoy eating there on occasion, but it is DEF. not what I would call a signature. I wonder how many people will still flock there after the increase????

That is the point. Why give away meals to DDP when they can make a killing on $$$ customers.

Agreed. I've eaten there once and don't plan on returning. I've had a better steak at my local Texas Roadhouse. My wife likes their potato soup and pretzel bread. I wish they had a QS location that served only this :)

Us too. We ate there last Sept and it was not our favorite meal at all, which really surprised me after everything that I read about it. We found that Kona Cafe was much better in every way. I would never pay 2 dining credits for a meal at Le Cellier because it just wouldn't be worth it to me.

So right on this one. I can see high demand for lunch and then low demand for dining plan diners. We had lunch there on Sat. July 24th and it was our most disappointing meal of our entire trip. The dinner at Kona's was our favorite. I imagine they decided they could make it worth 2 because of the popularity with people on the dining plan trying to find the best value for their meal credits. We have eaten at Le Cellier on numerous occasions..even way back when it was a cafeteria...and I'd say the quality has really declined over the past two years...the service as well. We had to ask for a drink refill and the people at the table next to us were on the dining plan the waitress made them order everything at once....heck I might change my mind on dessert before I'm done with dinner.

I won't bother going for an ADR for dinner because I am assuming prices will have to go up to make the two credits = value.

Are they raising the cost of the dinner menu to make the 2 credits appear to be worth it or are they blatantly trying to get rid of DDP users at this location? Because if they raise the cost = to that of the dinner at Cindy's or the Luau without improving the quality and the service it definately isn't worth it .
