Laugh Floor Possible Opening

Try not to let others peoples negativity influence your opinion before you have actually experienced the attraction.

There are alot of so-called Disney fans that just like to stir the muck.

I will, of course, experience the attraction before making up my own mind, but I continue to daily hear extremely negative reports of the attraction...many calling it "even worse than Stitch" and some even proclaiming that "Disney wants to scrap it and start over". And I won't even mention it's poor connection to Tomorrowland... From everything I've seen and read, this show is a complete fiasco. If anything positive can come from it...maybe Disney will realize not everything tied to Pixar is an instant success.

The preview started by cast members trying to get guests into the first queue room. We stood in that room for a good 13 minutes. Once the room filled up, the doors were closed and we waited. Finally the door to the next queue room (presumably the pre-show room) opened. We shuffled in to see the screens and waited for another 12 minutes, but the television screens were on a short loop with no audio or characters showing up. In other words, no preshow was shown.
Ah, the plot thickens. That's something they've never tried before. I'm sorry but you really got the short-end of the preview stick. They must've had alot of problems backstage on that one. And if you've ever seen anything wrong happen during the pre-show, it always affects how guests react during the show. Two examples come to mind. Once in Philharmagic they had us waiting in the waiting area for a long time due to problems with the arch inside the theatre. Once they got it fixed, and they saw the show, the guests seemed to hate it. I mean they were downright mad at what they saw. It was the only time I've seen that show and the guests hated it afterward. Same thing happned at Mission: Space. They had to move us into another ready room and had us wait forever there. The guests seemed very unhappy getting off the ride, unlike most of the time, where guests seem to enjoy it. I do think it's fate though that the people who don't like the show already will finally go on it when crazy stuff is going on that day.

My DS(5) is a huge Monsters Inc. fan (so am I)! We soooo want to see this show. They've been promoting it in their e-mails to us for at least 8 months! We were so excited when we saw it was supposed to open back in, I think, January.

Question: Are there any CMs hanging around the silver doors? Can I ask nicely if there will be a preview? With just me and my DS, we can't exactly hang around from 10-5 hoping for a preview.

Thanks
(we'll be there March 24-April 1).

You can ask and they will tell you that they don't know because they haven't seen any of the cast members working within. If they are doing a preview, you will know it as the cast members will be outside trying to get guests to preview the attraction.

Oh, and can I ask- What is a DS?

I just got back from a day at the parks, and got to see it again. Today they've started testing back-to-back shows. So now you could just hop in line. I was in a very small crowd (First show of the day.) and they didn't do the survey at the end, so it was harder to know what the crowd thought, but they seemed to enjoy the first two acts well. Mikey wasn't as popular though. I would've seen it again to get more reactions, but I had to go. I will have a brand-new-long-awaited-super-duper-extratacular-superawesome-EpcotServo Update up soon! Including some great pictures from inside the Laugh Floor! Great Job! I'll get it up as soon as I can.

(Oh, and JediMaster, they fixed the AC, nice and frosty now. I heard they stopped previews for a while just to fix it. I still don't get how you missed the pre-show. I saw three today inside the waiting room, and an audio introduction by Roz in the queue.)
