I see that these rates cover our girls cruise. Are they good for our rooms? I don't know how it works on cruises, can you apply a discount after you have already booked the cruise?

Thanks!

Hi Jess! It does cover our cruise! But that's actually the price we are paying. Our cruise really hasn't gone up yet. I'm sure it will once word gets out that we will all be there, lol! That cruise will fill right up! :)

To answer your question, if you are outside the penalty period and the price goes down, you can rebook or adjust depending on how it went down. If you're inside the penalty period it's a little trickier.

Tammy is watching our rates like a hawk! Or falcon! :D <--I'm such a confirmed nerd!

Best I can tell, the shorter cruises (3 or 4 nights) tend to book up more than the longer cruises with the shorter lead-time. Sorta like the old man & me jumping on the 3 night dream at like 80 days out. When we booked our 5-day we did that at like 80-something or 70-something days out. Changing rates inside the penalty period IS quite tricky, as Tammy said. I *have* heard of price drops big enough to recoop the amount of the penalty PLUS save a chunk but I think that's more an exception than the rule. It's like the stuff with WDW discounts where you have to continually be watchful and do the math to see even once you get inside the penalty period.
