Not only is steel rising for the coaster, but I see new castle wall construction, progress on Dumbo #2 and side walls on the red tent. Wow...things are really starting to move now.

There seems to be two pine trees blocking the Dumbo show building from The Barnstormer. Kinda hard to see with the shadows though, but it looks like there are trees.

Looking at the previous aerials it does appear that they added a couple trees between Goffini and the back of the Dumbo tent. It's also nice to see the whole outline of the castle wall, and the bridge to Belle's village is almost complete.

The grotto looks every bit as immersive as the Splash queue. Very cool looking. The new rockwork winds its way well behind the tents.

Just keeps getting more amazing by the day. Perhaps we don't thank Jay Rasulo as often as we should. Thanks Jay!

its really speeding ahead now.

i'm looking at it though, and from my viewpoint it looks like the beauty and the beast area is closer to finishing than mermaid, as lots of that is still unpainted.

On the first pic of the overall view of new Fantasyland...On the roof of Mermaid (top left-lower roof section) there are four holes on the roof with the rock surface around the tops of them??? Doesn't look like you'd see them from the ground...part of the queue area to let light in???

Yep I think so, definitely would seem to indicate you will be able to see it from underneath and have daylight through.

It's part of the Scuttle's Scavenger Hunt area:

I can't tell you how great it is to have these images. I really look forward to each of these updates. Makes my day!

Me too! I was going to go up next week because I was so excited about the steel structures, but I think I'll wait another week to see more progress. Great pics Scott.

Thanks for the comments, folks.

There's obvious interest in the new ride structure, so here's a close-up:

Another area of interest has been the area between Fantasyland and Liberty Square. I unfortunately didn't have the lens (or light) to do this properly, but here's a try:

Scott, thanks. These are awesome. I've overlaid the mine ride layout to give people an idea what it will look like when finished. (This is my first time posting a picture our using photoshop, so i hope this worked).

Welcome to the boards! Yes, it worked great. I had also posted an overlay here, but its nice to see an up to date version.
Scott, thanks again for the photos! Lovin' the close-ups. Does anyone have a link to the site plan of the new bathrooms? I know it was posted somewhere but I can't seem to find it....

Awesome shot and exactly what we needed. I can't believe no one has commented on this. It appears to me that they may be attaching forms or a facade to the HM show building. Of course I am not familiar with the backstage but if that is the case this add could be incredibly cool. Plus the area is much larger than I anticipated.

Also exciting is the space available on the back of the FLE mountain that faces Mermaid. Plenty of room for creating an immersive World Showcase type setting for this area.

If the FLE isn't Carsland in scope, it is pretty darn close.

There's a Cast Member walkway there. It's probably covered to protect CMs from construction debris.

I was about to suggest that there's probably also fire exits out of the Mansion show building that have to be kept clear.
