Late summer discount released

Disney just released a new discount for Walt Disney World packages for most nights August 15- September 30, 2014! It also includes free Memory Maker.

This is both a discount on your room AND free Memory Maker! The deadline to book is April 20th.

They usually don't offer discounts in the middle of summer...

Still waiting for free dining for fall! They better still be coming out with it! They have done it for 3 years straight so I hope they would still continue it!

Maybe they did free memory maker because it's new and not a lot of people know about it yet???

How many different offers are they going to release for April thru June?

Memory Maker is appealing to many people. I don't personally see the appeal of getting unlimited pictures from poorly-trained photographers who take dreadful nighttime pictures with nice cameras that they don't know how to use.

I've had decent luck with Memory Maker. We've purchased a Photopass CD every year for about 6 years. For us the value is in the ride photos, and borders and embellishments- not in having professional pictures. I also loved the fact that I was able to fully watch and experience the moment when my son met characters, instead of hiding behind the camera (I still took plenty of my own pictures at many of the characters- but it was a nice option to let them take care of it!)

Umm...yes they do??? In 2013, they had 5%-30% off room rates and discounted 4- to 10-day tickets for 6/13-8/14. In 2012, they had 5%-25% off room-only rates for 6/15-8/14. And, in 2011 they had 25%-30% off room-only for 5/29-8/13.

Even though summer discounts don't usually come out until late March/early April, it's odd that they released a fall discount before releasing their summer discount????

PhotoPass photographers will gladly photograph or videotape using your camera/tablet/smartphone. For free.

Just a reminder that this discount is expiring soon- must be booked by April 20th. It includes BOTH a room discount AND free Memory Maker. :)

It looks like Beach Club is a 25% discount (plus Memory Maker). There is a 2 day minimum ticket requirement for this promotion.
