Late Flight - DME Question

Hi!
Our flight next week is set to arrive in Orlando around 10:30 pm. We typically do early morning flights, so are familiar with the DME routine of bags arriving later that day. When do they typically arrive at the resort on a late flight like this? We're trying to figure out what necessities to pack in the carry-on so we're not waiting until 2 am for bags to arrive. Gotta get some rest so we're ready for Day One!

Thanks!

Hi I can be wrong but I think after 10pm you have to get your own bags, they will not bring the bags to the hotel at that time, just double check on that to be sure.
The MK buses run decent schedules at that time, in October we got on a MK bus around 11:30pm and got to our hotel around 12:45am. It makes a lot of stops during that time of night just want you to be aware of that.
If you don't have to check bags maybe a good idea would be to take them onto the plane if they are not too big. We always do that and it's much easier that way.
Have a great trip ok. :) hope this help at bit.

Per the current info I have you will need to grab your own bags for flights after 10:00 PM. Most of my clients have been getting their own bags regardless to avoid the delay in getting them to their room and reducing the chance of them getting misplaced.

Thanks everyone! We never take flights out this late, but got such a great deal, we couldn't pass it up!

Do we even bother with the DME tags then?

Hard to concentrate at work today.....too close to vacation time! :ROFLOL:

NO! NO! NO! NO!

Sorry to shout, but I'm trying to save you a whole lot of hassle and confusion. If you put those tags on your bags and your flight arrives after 10 PM, there's a chance they won't end up on the luggage carousel for you to pick up. They may end up in the bowels of MCO until the following day when the DME workers return. You don't want that to happen, so no, do not put those tags on your luggage!

Hahaha! I consider myself warned! :ROFLOL::ROFLOL:No DME tags for us....double checked our reservation and the flight is due in at 10:20.

Thanks again for all the tips....if only we could leave now!
