He will surely be missed. Disney Animation would not have nearly been so amazing without the talent and dedication of these fine men. :(

I remember the first time at WDW we walked into the shop next to Tony's on Main Street and there was an older man setting drawing. I thought wow he's good and people were lined up for him to autograph drawings. It was later in years I found out it was Mr. Johnson. I wished I had done my homework not only visiting WDW but the people that made Disney what it is.

This news had me bummed out all day yesterday. Truly a sad day for fans of Disney animation.

I reccomend that everyone check out the great documentary "Frank and Ollie" I watched it last night and got more than a little choked up.

It's the true end of the old school.

Whats even more sad is that a post about the price of buns going up is more popular than this! Why is this not number 1!

it truly is a sad day.but at least the gangs all together again, and Mr Johnson is with his wife.these guys were true pioneers.
Any one know if theres an online memeorial book to sign somewhere?

Read this in the paper this morning how sad, but to live to be 95 and have such a great impact on so many lives which the movies he worked on did, it was a great life.
