Last LaL tiles put up this week

The very last batch of LaL tiles was put up on the tombstones this week. How do I know? Well, My ex and I got one when she came down and it was the very last day they were selling them at around 4pm.

It came out really nice. Who knows how long it will be there for.

Ahaha! Well, it's the end of an era, I suppose. I stress again, it wasn't the concept that was bad; it was the execution. And I think most would agree. I congratulate you on the purchase, and hope that Leave a Legacy in its current state and form takes on that special quality known in the marketplace as a "limited engagement."

She wasn't my ex in June when they stopped selling the tiles :p

I can take a photo of the tile if you'd like proof.

It's EAST 5-E-8-2-23. It is most certainly one of the last ones crafted given the time on the last day we purchased it.

That reminds me, it has been years since I've seen what condition my stone is at TTC!

And, Flight Safety, love your avatar pic!! Is 'Flight Safety' a reference to the Space Mtn Comm Chat?

I bought one with my fiance back in late April so I'm guessing we are up there too! I'll have to have a friend take a pic for me when they are down in October. Thanks for the info.

If yours isn't one of the 200 or so they have taken out and are stacked in rows in the break area at TTC. or the two that are sitting in the corner of the bus/monorail/boat break area near the MK entrance.

Does anyone know how to locate a tile now? We've lost the location for my parent's tile, and were unable to trace it down in August. Thanks!

Ours was finally put in place too. Good to know that the monorail will always be passing over us as we listen to the Epcot entrance music!

We just returned 2 weeks ago from Disney. When we went to Epcot my 8 year old said to me "I know where Mr. Disney's grave is" I of course asked where and he said right here....as we were walking through LaL. I explained to him that no it was not a grave yard but I don't think he bought it.
