Anyone have a thing you do the last day/night upon leaving the World?

OUrs is the last night before we leave, we do MK for dinner & catch a few attractions before leaving for home.

As we exit main street into the town square and under the train station I always look back down main street with a tear in my eye and in my best terminator voice I say "I'll be back"...........

anybody else care to share??????

I'll get enough sleep when I'm dead. We stay until closing, with the Haunted Mansion being our last ride(and me being the last person on it). Then we get up the next morning, eat and check out and start the 13 hour drive home.

I always book a flight home for around 7:30 - 8:00 PM - that way DME picks me up around 4:30 - 5:00 PM

The last day we do RAC, and check all of our bags. I throw a bag with swimsuits and if it's winter, some appropriate clothing for the flight home in bell services. We then go to a park for the morning. Around noon/1:00 PM we come back to the resort, grab a locker, change and hang out at the pool, just swimming and relaxing. We then change in time eat dinner, have dinner at the resort, and then catch the DME - relaxed and rested.

We usually spend the last day hitting our favorite attractions one last time, going back to get those must have souvenirs that we passed on earlier in the week; and then we finish off the night by closing down the Magic Kingdom....

Go to Epcot for the day and end with Illuminations.
As someone who goes mostly to Disneyland, Epcot is what I miss most from Florida. It's the favorite Disney park of our family.

MK - Look through the Emporium, buy a bag of cotton candy for the road trip, restrooms, and give Main Street a good stare before we go through the exit.
Epcot - Spaceship Earth and restrooms.
DHS - Shopping and restrooms.
DAK - Nothing memorable beyond restrooms.

I think that going to the restrooms is too much of a tradition!

We always watch Wishes and take our time leaving the park. Then as we go under the railroad tracks, I always say "Another successful Buried* family vacation." and the kids usually give me a hug. Pretty decent way to end a trip, I think. :)

We always have a tradition of visiting MK in the evening for our last day/night in the parks. Normally, PPF is the last ride we hit before leaving.

Same here, last park has got to be MK no matter what! We try to ride potc, hm, and at least one (if not all!) mountains before we leave. Then its that sad, emotional look back down main street wondering "when will we meet again?"

We do MK as well on the last day... we try and get a flight out around 7-8pm. Wake up early, enjoy the day riding our favorite rides and just stroll around taking in the atmosphere one last time... we eat at Casey's Corner for mid lunch-dinner then ride the train around the park a couple of times.... then walk under the station with teary eyes (both sad and happy tears!)

The last night we go to dinner and then to DTD. We then later go back to our resort and pack. In the morning we have breakfast and leave and as we drive we say goodbye to Mickey and say see you next year. We then go to UNI or Sea World or Gator Land Zoo and then drive slow and care free home back to Southern New Jersey, stopping for oranges and Pecans, stop for a nights stay at Hilton head stop at South of the border and just plain have fun and as we get closer to home want to pick our Dog up out of the kennel and get home and just realize what a hell of a nice vacation for two weeks that we just had and can't wait till next year to do it all over again.

I always book my flight as late in the day as possible so I can enjoy the maximum amount of time in the parks. The Magic Kingdom is ALWAYS my last park. It's usually the only park I do that last day, but I have once or twice gone somewhere else in the morning. I have on occasion taken the monorail to catch a bus from Epcot back to the hotel to get my luggage just to get once last glance.

When my wife and I stay down there we usually just make it a long weekend, we will leave work early on Friday and stay down there for a couple nights... making our last day on property a Sunday.

We usually get up on Sunday morning and eat breakfast at the resort and then find our way over to Downtown Disney for some shopping, lunch at Earl of Sandwich and ice cream at Ghirardelli (spelling?).

But if DHS has Extra Magic Hours, we'll go there until lunch time and then just head home.
