...As much as we wanna detach from reality, we're also thinking about bringing a laptop along. We're staying at POR. Any ideas / hints on what we can do to secure the laptop while we're enjoying the magic?

We've stayed at Old Key West for about 6-8 weeks per year since 1992. Ther'es always been one laptop in plain view and as many as four. Never, ever a problem. I'd take this one off the worry list!!

Ive left mine on the desk, attached to the high speed connection, out in the open, even with a note on the door to be careful because there is a laptop in use in my room, and never, ever had a problem.....:lookaroun

Which WDW resort has a safe large enough for a laptop?

Depends on the size of the laptop  .
My personal laptop is larger and may not fit, but my work laptop fits no problem in the safe in the rooms at AKL.

Again, I have never had anything taken from my room by a Mousekeeper; I just like to be safe and not provide the temptation.
