Lanyard ?

Hi All! :wave:

My DH and I don't trade the pins so I don't know too much about this whole thing. But our good friends are taking their 3 kids down to the World in June - and for Christmas...we are getting them started and ready for pin trading!! We got two pins and a lanyard for each child. However, only one of the lanyards had the tag thingy that hangs down from where the lanyard velcros together. We wanted to get that hangy thingy for the other two kids. I checked disney.com, shopping - but nothing. Does anyone know where I can buy just the hangy parts or if this is an option?

Found one at Disneystore.com but its a princess one, theres aslo a card holder one too-

The trick is to know what to look for. Search for "lanyard medal".

"Hangy thing" won't get you many results... :animwink:

Since you say your location is Hilton Head why dont you go to the Disney resort there and buy all your pin needs or have them get it for you?Seems strange that a person that has supposidly been to WDW before has no idea about pin traiding?

Thanks for the link to the medals (and the term to use :lol. They look like pins though - and this is like a flat piece of plastic. Like what is hanging down from this one:

One of them came with this piece of plastic (Mickey as a pirate is on it) and two are just lanyards with no plastic piece. Since they are all siblings that I am buying for - I am trying to make them as close to being the same as possible. Can just the plastic things be purchased? Thanks for all of your help with this! I know nothing about the pins and trading! :wave:

Ah... I'm certain I've only seen the plastic cards in lanyard sets. It's almost a filler for the medals, but I've never seen them sold separately.
