Land and Sea Packages

Does anyone know how much you save by booking both a stay at the resorts and a cruise together or is it cheaper to book them separate? I would assume it is a good bit cheaper to bundle them into a total vacation package

I had looked into this before. Im going in May part cruise part disney and was told they dont offer discounts when booked together anymore. That you save more money taking advantage of special offers for disney world and then just booking your cruise.

But Im sure @Disneyfalcon can answer any disney cruise questions you have!

It is typically cheaper to book them separately as the discount for the land and sea package is minimal if anything at all. Nine times out of ten, general public room only discounts or free dining promotions will beat it.

The above are correct! Disney is trying to make fix it so you can get whatever discounts are out there for WDW when you bundle it with a cruise, but for now it's usually better to book separately, and it's never cheaper to book them together, only possibly the same price. :)

If you book thru a TA such as Kingdom Konsultants (both @Master Yoda & @Disneyfalcon are agents w/them) it's just as easy if not moreso than if Disney DID still offer the Land-n-Sea lump packages. AND, they're fabulous at maximizing discounts and savings wherever possible. Doesn't cost a thing extra to utilize their services. Highly recommend KKs. Conquering my narcisistic planner self and turning it over to someone else has been a life-changer!

Judging by Disney's track record with their booking sites and IT I'd say folks are more likely to receive ice water in.... nevermind... ;) :p Seriously, if they could make this work it'd be a wonderful tool maybe for YOU. Hahahahahaaaaa...I keel meeeeeee... LOL!

I spoke to a agent through the Cruise Line, They basically repeated the same things you guys had said. I tired Small World Vacations last time I was planning a trip but they really didn't offer any great discounts (or any great help for that matter) so I just found a local agent who was a tremendous help! I will however look into Kingdom Konsultants by your recommendation!

I think my favorite part of working with KK is that it's a single point of contact for everything. I don't have to call into a call center when I have a question or some detail to address. If I want to add something, change something, put land arrangements with the sea arrangements, etc. it's a single point of contact. I shoot over an email and hear back in a flash. Done. I hate call centers where each time you call you get someone different and often different interpretations of policies. That makes me insane!
