Man, they should be up 3-0 not 2-1. Gotta like the way the Pistons are playing right now. No doubt about it Detroit has a very good team, nice balance. I would like to see Prince take a few more jumpers when he is as open as they are leaving him.

GO PISTONS.

Did you ever think that maybe the reason Shaq and Kobe are playing so horrible is that the pistons are contesting every shot? Did you notice something else??? The Palace never gets quiet...unlike your Staples center...celebrities are to rich to cheer apparently?

Maybe...just maybe LA, Detroit isn't a push over like you thought they were going to be??? Just a thought, but the series should also be 3-0 right now...Shaq should have never gotten the And 1 with 3 seconds left. Why? Simply because he was never fouled when he went up for that rebound. Gotta love when your in LA you can't get any foul calls. Then, after game 3, Phil Jackson has the gaul to say there is way to much foul descrepency. Yeah Phil...it's called experiencing what everyone else does when they play you.:brick:

I give it to you that the Pistons are playing better B-Ball, but I'm expecting the sleeping Giants to wake up. What Lakers need is the other team players to step up because they can't rely on Shaq and Kobe to do all the work.

The series is 2-1 not 3-0. Remember Lakers aren't in the Finals by chance :animwink:

SOME Laker fans may be quiet, but we sure know how to cause a "riot" after the game :animwink:  :drevil:
Not all Laker fans are celebrities :animwink:

True, but at least the Pistons fans don't boo their team when they are losing.

We're not boo-ing the Lakers, we're boo-ing the opposing team.

BTW, I see you're a Kings fan...they get my vote for the loudest fans with those cow bells. That's the King's secret weapon isn't? Distract the opposing team with the bells. :drevil:

Alright.....you were the better team last night. I still think there was some horrible calls made. Let's just hope the Lakers can step up Tuesday night.

By the way....why does everyone hate the Lakers so much? Is it because they won three championships in a row? Is it because of Kobe and Shaq? The fact that the team is one of the greatest ever? :veryconfu

Detroit has been the better TEAM all four games and all year long.

As far as the "Hate The Lakers" comment, if you were not a Lakers fan to begin with, then yes, the success causes a bit of resentment which can be translated to hate. I'm a Jeff Gordon Fan since the beginning, and he became a hated driver when he started winning so much and taking championships away from Dale Sr. I am a UK Wildcats fan and come under the same attacks based on their succes as well. Let's face it. If "your" team is a winner, all others will root for the underdog, thus creating hatred. Hate being a strong word, of course.

Yeah, nothing like being a good-spirited winner.....

The Lakers are generally considered to be the greatest team franchise in the history of the NBA, even beating out the Celtics since the Lakers have been more consistent through the years.

As for this team, it ain't gonna happen. I would have much rather the Lakers played the Pacers than the Pistons because I knew Detroit would cause and create problems for them with their defense.

As for the NBA, I think this will be the first major sport that I will give up on. It's not the same anymore and watching these Finals have confirmed to me how much I dislike where the league has gone. Officiating is HORRIBLE in this series--on both sides of the ball. Guys are getting hammered and pushed with no call, and then they call little ticky-tack hand-check fouls. If defense if your game, that's fine, but anyone in the NBA should be able to hit open jumpers--and that's not happening. Until the NBA does something to improve the offensive side of things, I'm done with it.

Congrats to the Pistons--they deserve this and they are, without a doubt, the better team.

lakers, i think they MIGHT pull this one off, they are down 3-1. If they win in detroit tommorow night, they will come back to a frenzied staples center, and will win game 5 by 10 or more points. And game 7 will be a toss up, whoever wants that trophy the most will get it. Just my 2 cents

Frenzied Staples Center? It sounded more like a morgue in games 1&2.

It is so loud down at the Palace I think I can hear it while standing in my backyard 25 miles away...

Go Pistons! The Fakers are sitting somewhere in Metro-Detroit right now just glad they didn't get swept.

I think this is the general direction sports are heading. Watching the Red Wings this year, the game is almost no longer fun to watch. There is now so much checking and holding that the well-skilled finesse players can't do their thing. Look at baseball, I don't remember so many batters getting hit when I was younger....now it seems to be a regular occurance.

well to comment on your view towards hockey being no fun to watch....when was it ever fun....????? I have always saw hockey as the worst of the major sports
