It's not Dave's Limo, is it?
Those people suck.

Those people are a nightmare.
We've used them for airport service a few times.
They make you sit in that stupid van while they drop people off all over the place, but they won't wait two seconds for you outside the airport. The last driver we had smelled of alcohol. We never used them again.

Indeed.

But I do know a guy that can arrange these types of arrangements...:lookaroun

And that is the only limo company? Maybe try a Towncar company. How many girls is it? We can get a nice, black towncar (in NYC!) for $70 and that's all the way from the city to the airport. Even if you needed 2 it'd probably still be cheaper. And some of them have the big, black suburban SUV's too.

It's the only solid answer we've gotten so far.
We're looking into the towncar option, as well.
Also, we know the funeral director from our old neighborhood pretty well. George is going to talk to him. If he doesn't have his own limo, he might be able to point us in the right direction.

Well, maybe DBF will shove cake up your nose at the reception - like what happened to me. :fork: And DH is 6' and has long arms, so he kept dodging me - what a turd!
Yeah....I can see him doing something like that. Meh, as long as he gets most of it in my mouth, I'll be fine. :slurp:

Or she could be a metaphoric representation of...
Something else.

I don't feel like thinking about what that something would be.

I'll give that some thought when I'm not so tired.

Hello....finished Half-Blood Prince. :o Dumbledore!

I know!

I know...I'm glad I did wait to read them all until she finished the series....it would have driven me NUTS to wait two years for the final book. Now I just have to get that from my sister. :D

Well, I did.:lookaroun

The last book. . .oh my gosh, I love that book.

Me too! I can't wait for the movie!

Ok... so today was, well, quite the eventful day. Gosh, so much stuff happened. First, early this morning, I had to drive my parents to the airport. It was sad and I really missed them throughout the day and kept thinking about Philly. I thought it might be a good idea to visit the Magic Kingdom tonight and see my castle and remind myself why I'm here. During the day, a friend contacted me asking if she could stay at my place a few days next week. I wasn't too comfortable with it and it would have been such a hassle because of how busy things would be this month. I felt bad about turning her down but I offered to help her find a hotel. When I got out of work, I decided to just go get a haircut. It was getting too long. When I got home, I had dinner, called the family, and then made my way to Magic Kingdom... where things got even more eventful.

When I got to the TTC, all the monorails were shut down for some reason. I was forced to take the ferry. I had never taken the ferry at night before and now I don't understand why I never did. I'd only taken it in the morning, but at night, it is so much more amazing. You get to see the Magic Kingdom and all the resorts there lit up as you make your way to the park and it is so beautiful. Taking the ferry at night is now something I gotta do more often. When I got into the park, I was met with another surprise, it was so empty! There were crowds lined up along Main Street for Spectro but anywhere else in the park, it was empty. I've never seen that before. Was everyone in the park waiting for the parade? You could pretty much do any ride without a wait, including Peter Pan. I just walked on to Peter Pan... that never happens! It always has like a 90 min wait, no matter what. It was amazing, the weather was so nice, it was actually cool and it felt like I had the place to myself. It wasn't totally empty but there was only a mere fraction of people compared to what I'm used to. I guess maybe there are less guests after Labor Day? There were so few guests that I was actually able to get ice cream from the shop on Main Street without waiting for an hour.

After Wishes, I roamed around the park which with the exception of Main Street was totally empty. There were more cast members than guests in any of the other areas of the park. It was sooo nice. All the rides were closed but the atmosphere was incredible. After taking in Fantasyland, I went to stand under Cinderella Castle. I was between the clock and the stage and then it happened a lot earlier than I had expected, the kiss goodnight. And to experience it right there beneath the castle was so magical. Next thing I knew, a girl and her two friends ran up next to me. They were trying to take pics of themselves in front of the castle. But there was something peculiar about the girl. She seemed awfully familiar. I then realized it was my friend from MySpace. We really don't know each other outside of MySpace and we've only exchanged a few messages. I was almost certain it was her. I thought in my head, "I know you!", "You work here!", "You were just in the parade... as Ariel." She didn't recognize me, she was too busy with her friends, I doubt she even looked at me. I wanted to say hi but didn't want to intrude on their fun. I offered to take their picture but her friend declined my offer. And with that, I decided to just leave them. I wished I could have said hi though.

I then headed out of the park to go home. It was then I got my biggest surprise of the night. My phone went off. I looked at it and the person calling was the last person I ever expected to call me again. I was so shocked to see that name. It was a certain someone from California. I picked up and I heard a voice I had not heard in six months. The last time I heard that voice, it shredded my heart to pieces. For the last 6 months, it's basically felt like she cut me out of her life. It devastated me and played a huge role in taking me to Florida instead of California. I was so shocked that she called me that the first thing I said to her was "Did you call the wrong number?" I thought she might have dialed me by accident. But no, she really wanted to talk to me. She had finally made the cut for face character auditions in Disneyland. She has a callback on Sunday and it's the last step in becoming a Disney princess, something that's been her dream for a long time. She's tried numerous times as long as I've known her to no avail but now she finally made the cut and is so close to it. She was so happy and excited. She said the first person she thought of was me and had to tell me. She said that she never forgot me. I found that hard to believe but I didn't show any bitterness during the call. This is her dream. This is so special to her. It was seeing her pursue this dream that gave me the courage to pursue my own. She asked me about WDW and how things were going in my life now. It was so weird talking to her again, it felt like those convos we used to have in the middle of the night, before things went wrong. It was so ironic. Before me was Cinderella Castle, where my heart is kept safe. Speaking into my ear was someone who had nearly destroyed it. But I don't have any ill will towards her. I hope she gets this. I hope she finally reaches her dream. After the call, I just head back to my apt in such a confused daze, not knowing really what to think of it.

Well, that was almost a TR.
