DD was home for the weekend, but didn't want to bring her new kitten since we have quite a menagerie here already. When she got back to her apartment, little Luna was dead.....

Why??????That is soooo sad.
She's not really sure what happened - there was something in her water dish, but she didn't know what it was. The poor kid is sooo upset and all alone. I told her I'dcome up and stay with her tonight, but she insists that I don't.... I just want to hug her.....

Oh no, Betty! That is so sad! What happened to her?
I wonder what was in the water dish? I know you want to be there and they tell you don't it hurts but they are trying to be strong (like we taught them) It is hard for us but they need to be independant. :lookaroun

She's going to call the shelter tomorrow where she got her from and report it in case it was something she came in contact with there.
I feel so horrible ............
Maybe that was the case. how long did she have the kitty.
Just checked back - looks like she hasn'tbeen on today - hope she's OK.
I hope so too. Has it still been raining up there?
