yes - they're a possibility. He saw une online at REI that looks good, so we're going to go check it out this afternoon. I don't think his laptop will get here before he has to leave, but he can use his sister's for the first couple of weeks if he has to.

I found exactly what I was looking for at the Apple website. They have a lot of variety in style, company, and price. You can't really go wrong. And if Apple trusts them, so do I.

You must purchase a qualifying Mac and a qualifying iPod on the same sales receipt or invoice from June 5, 2007 through September 16, 2007 using Apple’s Education Individual discount. so I guess it's a no-deal for you. Sorry!

His buddy highly recomended it, and told him what he'll need on it. Apparently in film you need a Mac and you need lots of spped and space.
