Quick good morning  and {{hugs}} for Joanna.

We're heading up to NY to the Catskills today. DBF's parents are building a house up there and we're going to help them paint. :) Need to get ready, but I'll be back once we get on the road.
Hope you come back with a you-know-what Steph!

That would be awsome.:sohappy:

I hope so. Right now it just feels like it is dragging on.
I soooooo wanted to quit during my junior year of college - I guess a lot of people go through that -but a professor/friend of mine talked me into staying. I'm so glad he did - I'd probably never had gone back if I left then.

I don't know. I just don't feel like this is worth is for what I want to do in FL.

The thing is though Jo, what you want to do right now might not be what you want to do 5 years from now. Once you have that degree, it's yours for life, and someday it might just open a door for you that otherwise would have been closed. Life can really deal you some curves, and it's always best to be prepared.

Good Morning

Can't stay running late to get dressed for work. We went to see Corey Friday night and finally got home about 10 last night.
The bad news is 2 truckers almost hit me and I almost ran into a deer. The good news is DH decided to drive the rest of the way home. :sohappy: I was so tense after all that. I enjoyed seeing my DS and my sister but it is sooo good to be home.:sohappy:

Hi Susan - sounds like you have my luck driving on trips. When we used to drive to FL, every time I took over driving, something (not my fault I swear!) would go wrong. Glad you got to see Corey though!

Good morning.

Joanna. . .
A degree. . .in just about anything. . .is almost mandatory if you want a job that pays well. The business world wants that piece of paper. If anything, it proves that you stuck with something till the end and you have the ability to learn.
As Betty said, what you want now might not be what you want later on. You have to keep an open mind about your future because goals can shift and if you don't have that diploma you could be selling yourself short.

I saw that - that kid used to pitch here for our PawSox - what an amazing night for him!!!:sohappy:

I saw him on the post-game conference. He seems like a really nice kid.

I guess.

Good morning Dot! How was the pool party?

Great!
It was too cool for most of us to actually go in the water, but a few brave souls (or idiots, depending on how you look at it) did go in. . . like George. The water was really warm but he froze his butt off getting out.

How was the cookout?

Ever since my accident in June I feel like people have been out to get me.:zipit: But we made it and we also stopped by to see me mom and dad.:sohappy: They went out Friday night and went to the show that we gave them season tickets to. They both said they had a great time.:sohappy:

Not bad actually, dispite the fact that the new bride was there. Interestingly enough, they "forgot" to invite Dave's sister to this one, so we didn't have to deal with that issue.
Anyway, the food was good, and the weather was fantastic!
