I know what you mean.
((HUGS)) for your crankiness.
And remember. . .there are plenty of us who aren't going anytime soon!

Thanks. I think it's more I need any type of vacation, not so much Disney. DD (4) was hugging my leg as I tried to leave for work earlier, saying "Mommy I don't want you to go!" I thought I was going to  . DH is off today, and I'll be home by noon, so it's not so bad. I'm just feeling big time guilty for being a working Mom.

Thanks for listening, guys. I'll say hi again later.

Wow! You people are handy! I can barely sew a button!

My dress was long-sleeved too. But at the end of October, that was just fine. Our dresses were not "timeless" in style, that's for sure. 70s fashion = yuck!
*crosses Dot's name off list of possible dresses to borrow* :lookaroun

Edit: Actually, I like alot of the fashions from the 70's.

My sister is very talented. She also made the christening dress for our kids with material leftover from my dress. I can sew, but I never would have tackled that.

Wow!
My sister-in-law crocheted my girl's christening dress. (They both wore the same one.) Although it was pretty and I appreciated her doing it, it was bulky and heavy and not the sweet, girlie dress I had always envisioned for my babies. Oh well. . .things don't always go as planned.

Indeed!
I suppose my SIL could have made one out of plastic canvas....

I don't think you'd be a big fan of the wedding dresses though. Mine was long sleeved with a high neck and empire waist. That just wouldn't do now.
It was also a size 5 that had to be taken in.

Hmmm....yeah, I don't think I'll probably go with a long sleeved style. Or a high neck. Not sure about the empire waist thing...

Steph. . .
You answered earlier that Tuesday was the day and you sounded almost definite. Has that been confirmed?
Well our anniversary is definately Tuesday. But I'm not completely convinced that will be "the day". It's really important to him to catch me off guard as much as possible (not very since my guard is completely up! ). I do think he either has it or has gone in and ordered it because he will "neither confirm nor deny it". He has assured me that no matter what it will be before the 26th when my family comes.

Lauren's dress is a halter and has a long, tight bodice. It's great for her because she's so long in the torso. It makes her look elegant!
I really like halter styles too, not sure about the tight though. I want a little "poof". :king: I would love to be able to wear a strapless but since I'm a little....:lookaroun ....top heavy...I'm not sure if that will work. I don't want to be uncomfortable and be hiking it up all night, so I think I'll have to have some kind of straps.

I think he's trying to convince you that it's Tuesday to throw you off.

The dress itself isn't tight, just the bodice.
Lauren tried on several strapless dresses, and the "hiking" issue was a turn-off. The halter is very comfy!

 Thank you, Betty

That's what I thought too. Although I've stopped trying to analyze it...while completely, 100 % analyzing it.  Seriously, I need to try and forget about it until it happens. Which is completely impossible. :hammer:

Especially since we keep bringing it up. :D
