Yeah. It also allows them to use half the projectors which cuts projector upkeep and maintenance in half.

It might even be less than half. Any maintenance work would no longer making sure the two projectors are properly aligned for the 3D to work. Although I’m guessing that cost isn’t nearly as much as the operating costs during the day.
