Oh, I love this place also! Amazing service, great Hawaiian bread, delicious salad, and wonderful desserts. Great ambience too. You really do feel like you've escaped to the islands.

Check out the torch ceremony every night at 6 PM right before dinner too down at the lobby entrance.

OHHH YESS:kiss:

I LOVE Kona for lunch. I usually get the Plate Lunch with the Teriyaki Fried Steak. :slurp:

And of course at breakfast.. ya gotta go with the Tonga Toast! (although fyi... you can get it at Captain Cooks for cheaper and without a reservation! ;) )

I know it's a table service restaurant, but is there a way you can just get coffee to go? Or is there some place else at the Poly where you can get Kona coffee? I'm well aware of the serious shortcomings of Disney coffee!!

There is a Kona coffee bar just outside of the Kafe. You can see people in their pj's waiting for the place to open in the morning. The DH was over dressed when he headed there during our trip.

if you are walking towards the cafe with it on your right, keep going and there will be a place right by the monorail doors for coffee. they close early sometimes i think, but you can get coffee there :)

You can only get the Kona Blend Coffee at the Kona Island Coffee Bar.

If you want the 100% Kona Press Pot, you can only get that at Kona Cafe.

The 100% Kona press pot is to die for. I'm so happy. I made adr's for breakfast at Kona in April. I won't be going there on my June trip.
