kissing the characters

Just my opinion, but I think character kissing should be left to the impulse of children (you have to admit that in most cases with young ones, it is adorable!) and the option of the characters . . . so if they want to "kiss" your hand, they can initiate it, and you have the option to participate! Otherwise, keep your lips to yourself! :kiss:

Side discussion: How often does Disney clean the character costumes? :hurl:

back on page 1 i made up a humorous story of attempting to kiss a princess and getting a retalitory punch and ejection from the park... but-

has there ever been any reports of the princesses getting harrassed or molested on the job (Epcot Man not withstanding)? have any charges ever been filed, at the harrasser or Disney (for not providing adequate protection of an employee)?

They are cleaned after anyone wears them. If I wore one even for 5 minutes, they have to clean it. Trust me, they're cleaned daily.

An older gentleman who takes his ECV/Wheelchair to Epcot everyday and goes around and bugs all the characters in World Showcase.

Clopin (who I think of very highly) and myself talked about this. He saw him all the time.

Wow. That's the 2nd time I've heard of someone having a discussion with Clopin. Most face characters just give you a hug, pose for a picture & send you on your merry way. Gotta be hard to stay in character while having a discussion w/ a guest, huh?

Clopin had great guest interaction. He always did. He is one of the best characters at any Disney park IMO.

2 years ago at the princess breakfast in MK, my little brother-in-law was kissed by cinderella, that was priceless.

Not to change the subject, but I did have Minnie unbutton my shirt at Chef Mickeys. Well let me explain, I was sitting with my family, Minnie came around and took pictures, my father-in-law egged Minnie on about how i had a crush on her, she became friendly in a disney way, took a picture with her while i was sitting down, she left and blew me a kiss, i stood up to get food and my shirt was unbuttoned. My father-in-law told me he saw Minnie do it. :lol:

And damn was he hot!

Peter Pan kissed my cheek, Prince Charming kissed my hand, and Pluto licked my neck.

I used to get kisses from the characters in costume (full costume, like Pooh, not Jasmine), but I found it more enjoyable when the cute guys that you can tell are cute kiss you.

Though, I don't think Aladdin was supposed to actually kiss the lips. lol


Edit to Add: Ah, yes, how could I forget? Prince Eric, leaving Ariel in the "grotto" ( ) came over, autographed my book, and kissed my forehead.

Ah, to be a teen girl. You get actual kisses and not cuddles and stuff, b/c guys, well, no matter who they're dressed as, they've got needs. :goodnevil

Not to go against what you said, but Aladdin kissed you on the lips? The Characters are trained not to kiss any guests on the lips...that's really strange. I'm not saying you're a liar or anything, but it's just weird hearing something like that...

What do you mean by that? Was Jasmine with Aladdin when he "kissed" you? I doubt that a character would use a guest to meet their "needs". Especially when they were out on set.

How many of ya'll have kissed the characters? I kissed all the characters that actually had costumes on (chip, dale, minnie, mickie, etc). I was to embarised (SP?) to kiss the face charactes. I mean, I wanted to kiss peter pan and aladdin, but was to skiddish. It was just a question that was stirring in my head.
