They will handle EVERYTHING for you, you give them Dining reservations you would want and they do their best to get them for you, the same with hotel, and there is no fee as they are paid by Disney. They are all on these boards, and we frequently take advantage of their brains and skills...

Pam and her KK crew [krew?] are very knowledgable about Disney vacations. They charge the same as Disney does, getting their money through commissions.

The real advantage to using a Disney-smart agent [there are others, but KK are sponsors here on WDWMagic] is that they will keep track of discounts you may be eligible for and deals that may benefit you and will either contact you if there is a potential impact on your plans or "automagically" apply them if it changes nothing but your bottom line [for the better of course].

Saves you trying to keep up with every little change and offer coming out of Disney.

Let me just preface this by saying that we have a travel agent and she's been really great for us...I'm just curious about KK and dining booking. Most of the agents we looked at + the one we're using, will book dining for you, but most won't get up at the crack of dawn on day 180 to try and get you the really tough ADRs that can disappear within minutes. Anyone know KK's method of handling this? I personally enjoyed booking my dining (even though my agent was more than happy to do it), but I'm just curious to see how KK handles this. Thanks

Well I don't know about all of the agents, but I know when I was on the dining plan last December, Tammy emailed me my confirmations at 6:17am on my 90 day mark (before they reopened the 180 day reservations... and yes, I still have the email ) So she had gotten up SUPER early to do them online.

That's why she is awesome :D

That is pretty awesome! I totally understand saving the email. In all fairness to my agent, she never told me she wouldn't get up at the crack of dawn to book dining (for all I know this is common practice with her as well...as she contacted me multiple times while on her vacation to discuss new discounts with me- which was impressive)- they just wouldn't guarantee princess meals and CRT was my #1 priority. Of course that's become much easier to book, but I still wanted to do everything in my power to get it. Plus it satisfied the control freak in me.

You could always attempt to do those high-ticket reservations yourself too, then there's double the shot of getting them
I actually booked dining for myself for my trips this year because I only had a couple I wanted and they weren't difficult to get online.

When I used to work for KK, I was on the phone at the early hours of the morning when I knew my clients wanted hard to find reservations. Couldn't make guarantees, but I tried my best and continued to try if I wasn't successful the first time.

Thanks everyone! :D

We absolutely get up at the crack of dawn to get those dining reservations. I know when I used a travel agent before I worked for KK, I was so worried I wouldn't get what I want. We understand the importance of booking immediately. No guarantees as Evan said, but we are going to try as hard for you as we would for ourselves.

I'm in Colorado, and the online system currently rolls over at 6 am. That's 4 my time. On nights when I'm making reservations, I sleep in the guest room, wake up at 3:57 and get to work. Then I go back to sleep!:lookaroun:lol:
