For anyone interested - I went to the Kid Rock show this weekend at the Gwinnett Arena (Georgia) and it was awesome!!! Good set list, 2 hr show - no long breaks in between. 2nd time at a Kid Rock show (first time w/ Aerosmith). He promises to come back thru Atl during the summer since he thought his voice was shot Saturday night.

We saw him in Saginaw a couple weeks ago... AWESOME show! My brother in law left a message on our machine (which my husband doesn't know how to erase! MUA HA HAHA!) saying something about a show in Cleveland March 20th with POSSIBLE backstage passes! *crosses fingers*

I`m not a big fan of his either and I don`t like what he did at the super bowl with the flag, I thought it was direspectful. but I wont call him terrible. you forget there are people on here that love him, like christy(Mouse madness) saying stuff like this can insite bad feelings.

I saw Sarah Brightman last month at the Gwinnett Arena - great show as well!!

I personally did not think Kid Rock was disrespectful during the super bowl. He wore a USA flag poncho - that was made for him. HE has gone overseas many times to entertain the troops - who else has (that the troops would enjoy - Jessica Simpson)??? In any event - opinion vary - that's what makes us all different.

I like the Broadway stuff, but my love is ROCK. And yes, even the occasional Britney Spears, N'Sync for my daughter. Aerosmith in April!!!! Kid Rock will be back here during the summer and I will be there:sohappy:

You know Christy, hearing/watching Kid at the super bowl halftime show (which was one of the few parts that was good), I found myself enjoying the music (though he sang one of the songs that I like)...sooo I think I may becoming a fan....though I don't know what the warning signs of that are yet....
