What attraction is that?
Maelstrom, the ride at Norway. (beat me to it)

And yes it looks horrendous. How the heck did it even get that way? The boat couldn't have hit it could it? I actually have a nostalgic soft spot for this ride (despite its shortness), so it's incredibly sad to see it like that. Shameful.

Is that seriously there now? How hard could it possibly be to upkeep the Maelstrom for crying out loud?! This kills me. I can't imagine how much money it would cost to get all of these neglected rides up to 100% show ready. Can you estimate a figure? I know I can't...

Was the ride open all day like this? Brutal.
I'm sure it was. KingEric rode this again because he mentioned wanting to snap pictures of the moldy conditions in the ride. I didn't expect to see this though. The original post is here-

That's not even to mention the horribly moldy parts of the ride, looks like the show building might have some roof leakage problems or something. It's even starting to damage the beautiful mural at the load area. The three headed troll also apparently doesn't move anymore besides a slight jerking of the head. The entire ride looks like a complete filthy mess, just shameful.

KingEric mentioned that piece of scenery was burned away. Was that the case?

With all the mold I am beginning to wonder if the place is a health hazard?

Wow....

That post is outrageous. There can't really be any excuse for this, can there? Can someone come in here and defend TDO right now, please. I would love to see that.

I agree. The ride being so short is ironically kind of a benefit in this case, you don't get exposed to it for as long. I love the ride but these pictures really make me not want to ride it anymore until they do something about it. That management change cannot come soon enough.

A few years ago when I still lived in Tennessee, we had a major flood that damaged tons of property everywhere. My home was pretty much ruined and mold started to set in. I had to live in it for some time before I was able to sell it and move (they obviously didn't want the house but the land). So take my word for it, mold is not something you want to be exposed to for very long (especially what appears to be black mold in Maelstrom). It can cause all sorts of lung problems among other things, it took my lungs quite a while to recover after having to live in those conditions for some time (I still have remnants of the effects and am much more sensitive to allergies than I was before).

Quoted strictly to increase embarrassment.

This was by far the most difficult picture post to go through. Sad that there are people running WDW that feel this is acceptable & that they should continue to raise ticket prices. SHAME!

I would too. There's really no way to defend this. Though a certain fan of some country bears here might just try to tell people they're wrong in spite of the photographic evidence (or that they're being mean and evil to Disney for taking those pictures). Or else say WDI are the ones that did this and keeping this from being fixed.

That link should have a warning: Do not eat nor drink while viewing these photos.

My breakfast suddenly doesn't look so appetizing.

That entire attraction looks like a health hazard. I can't believe it's even allowed to be seen by the public like this. Disgusting.

Does anyone sponsor this ride?
