Although I'm probably wrong here but, Now that Block Party Bash has been going on for sometime now..Will they ever bring back out Kermit & Piggy for Meet & Greets since Stars & Motor Cars have ended since they aren't in the parade.

The parks need more Muppets in general. Such great possibilities to just sit and languish while every Pixar character* gets plastered everywhere.

*I think Pixar characters are great, and don't generally knock them, but their extreme presence in the parks makes me sad for other properties like the Muppets that I'd much rather see used...

I totally agree. Many kids don't know who Kermit and the gang are these days. It's been years since a child in my mother's 1st grade class has had any clue who Kermit and Miss Piggy are, very sad!

It's all us old-timers that still want to meet the Muppets!

I got a picture with Kermit & Piggy back in 2004...while wearing my Muppets Weezer shirt. It was one of the highlights of my trip! Yeah, I'm a dork :animwink:

If you're a dork, then I am a dork too...I have the Muppets Weezer shirt

I have my picture with Kermit. The first time my dad took it and our faces were all in shadow (it was weird.) So I was lucky to catch him a 2nd time and get a good picture with him. In front of the gazebo background next to the Muppets 3D exit.

Oh, that would be GREAT!! I've never seen a single muppet character out and about!! Getting a pic and autograph from Kermie or Animal would be a MAJOR highlight for me!! I LOVE the muppets!! They're a piece of my childhood! My boys and I watch the muppets "manah, manah" clip on youtube all the time!!!

The Henson family saw them and thought they were too big, so that's why they got pulled in the first place. That was several years ago.

I have seen them "hanging" around backstage, but I agree,it would be nice to see them out doing a meet n greet.:D

Maybe they could use the old meet n greet spot from Mike and Sully

Hey fellow Western PA-er! That's why I said "many", I wasn't including awesome Disney people like us :animwink:

I am amazed that Disney spent all the resources to acquire the Muppets and have done virtually nothing with them since.

Kermit

It's been AGES since I've even heard of the Kermit/Piggy meet and greets...and the chances aren't great that you'll be seeing them anytime soon. I've always thought it's a damned shame that The Muppets aren't more fully utilized at the Studios...

I love the muppets and was so excited to get a picture with both kermit and mis piggy back in 2004. With all the releases of The Muppet Show on dvd they should bring them back out.

One of my favorite trip memories is of my daughter meeting kermit and piggy together for the first time. We got to spend almost 10min with them, it was awesome. We always ask if they are coming out so at least they know someone would like to see them.

I think that sweetums would be the ultimate meet and greet for the muppets. It would be absolutely PERFECT!

Ahh I totally agree! And they already have a costume! Though I suppose he needs to appear in every show, it would be tricky to use the same one. I'm not holding my breath for a Gonzo meet and greet, though it would be the ultimate for me!
