I never tire from your gimmickYes you're right. Steve Whitmire was never able to nail down Kermit's voice. However, Matt Vogel now sounds like the real (Jim Henson) Kermit. But for 26 years we had to suffer listening to Steve Whitmire's terrible version.
It was a meme started by my friend.I honestly think they could pull it off. If they're setting DL's in a Louissiana Bayou, I don't think it'd be much different to assume they could pull something off with the Mississipi swamps of Kermit's home. If I remember correctly, the Muppets retheme was a fairly popular and well received alternative proposal bouncing around Distwitter right before the official news broke.
I couldn't see a Muppets storyline working here, although I totally see your logic here.
I thought of this too. I didn’t mention it here because it seems like a bit of a stretch, but it’s certainly something!View attachment 499392Just a thought: since Weis tagged the head of Marvel in this, anyway it could be going down the path of the Marvel Comics done in 2014, as a Marvel IP tie in?
It was a stretch when it just came to Weis’ post, but now that Rhode is in on this too, and the ‘Brave Little Spark’ note was brought up, it’s oddly fitting all together. Disney is knowingly wanting to use Marvel IPs in the Orlando parks, so this would be an addition to that, AND, don’t forget about the resculpting of Figment that came out a few weeks ago as well. It resembles more of the comic Figment than the park FigmentI thought of this too. I didn’t mention it here because it seems like a bit of a stretch, but it’s certainly something!

That’s where I’m unsure of. Maybe Disney is just using them for promotions and hype only? Maybe MuppetVision is getting moved into the Magic Eye Theatre? But where does Muppets come in?
Jim Henson studios crafting a new Figment puppet? But where does Muppets come in?
This is where I doubt the Imagination Tie-In. We know they're keeping Figment, we know that there are rumors circulating about Dreamfinder. But we also know that reputable sources are saying Imagination is 5-6 years off. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from the people "tagged" by the Imagineers, as those are most likely due to personal connections. But the Imagineers specifically "tagged" by the Muppets certainly are interesting. Either way, this seems like a stunt for a project that will come to light in the near future, d23 2021 at the latest. But where does Muppets come in?
Wasn’t aware of that. But there’s your answer people. No crazy conspiracyFour pages later and... No mention of the Muppet Studio being reorganized under WDI? WDI owns the Muppets. Bob Weis is literally Kermit's boss.

Look it up. Parks and Experiences are the parent companyhuh? Sez who?
PerhapsSo, maybe those clay mock-ups of the new Figment were from Muppet Studio for the new puppet?
They are apparently for a VR project. Presumably the for the Play pavilion, according to a tweet that was going around. So, maybe those clay mock-ups of the new Figment were from Muppet Studio for the new puppet?
